Squeaky Canvas Dog Toy for All Breeds by Tuff_Mutt (Shark)

I'm giving this 5 stars because with a 5 month old husky, this toy lasted 2 weeks. That is a long time for a toy's life in this house. They loved the squeaker, and all the fluff that came out. It was a quiet squeaky toy too, so it wasn't annoying at 2 in the morning.

Our puppy Pit chewed on the shark for close to 2 months. Once the noise maker stopped working she tore at the shark and destroyed in in a day or two. This is by far the longest lasting toy she has had to play with and chew. We have 3 other dogs. The shark survived many tug a wars. We will get her another one. Most toys will only last a half a day

We were really looking forward to this dog toy from Tuff Mutt. However our dog was pulling out stuffing within 15 minutes. So we removed the stuffing and gave it back to her and this is the toy after 1/2 an hour. She still likes to play with it and it is cute so we're giving it 2 stars, but we were really hoping that it would stand up a little better! We would also like to offer her services to Tuff Mutt to test their dog toys.

Mine didn't have a squeaker. There is nothing on the edge of the toy (most toys have thick black nylon wrapped around the edges) and the stitching is a few mm from the edge of the toy. This means my soft mouthed bird dog was able to fray the toy from around the edges and not only make a mess of random strings everywhere, but essentially destroy the toy. I got the Tuffy bat at the same time and it has edging nylon and thicket, quilted material and it's been perfect and both my Vizslas love it. I had just adopted a new dog and wasn't sure how rough he would be on his toys, but he's been gentle and his Tuffy bat and regular material dragon are fine, but his sharky was retired in less than 2 days.

I have a medium/small dog who is an aggressive chewer. The regular stuffed toys are chewed up in about an hour. This one is made with canvas and holds up longer. It is well made for a regular dog who is not an aggressive chewer. I gave her a new one when it arrived on Monday. This is Friday and is almost chewed up where it needs to be thrown away. Squeaker was chewed out by second day. I have not been able to find any toys that she will not destroy in just a few days. Update for new purchase - she can now chew the squeaker out in about 1 hr. Toys are very well made, just not for her. I very much enjoy dealing with this company

I was really hoping this would last my 35 lb. frenchie who has a mouth like a shark. Within the first hour he ripped through the canvas exterior (which was dangerous because he was swallowing strings and I had to hurry to rip it out of his mouth) and now a week or so later, it is in the trash because he ripped through the inner canvas material and ripped out the stuffing. For some background, he usually goes through a Tuff toy every two months. He likes to find the weakness and shred the weakness to bits. Sadly.....this shark had too many weak points. And so the search continues for a toy that lasts longer than a few months......

My Aussie just found his new favorite toy! The stitching is tougher than the toys we've been buying at big name stores and at half the cost. Will be buying the bull and duck version of Tuff-Mutts toys soon!

This toy lasted with my dog longer than most. He is a toy destroyer.

Not too bad for a toy for a dog that looks for weak spots in toys. Make sure you duct tape the smile as this is soft material and the weakest point. The rest is just a matter of time and has lasted a few days so far.
