These trays are great quality and size. They hold up well in the dishwasher and are sturdy yet flexible silicone. I really like the size of each pod and frozen foods pop out easily. We make all our own baby/toddler foods so these are a must have to use for freezing into portion sizes. I can cook big batches, freeze, pop out & store in freezer bags, then thaw & warm up whenever needed. One enhancement to this product would be to have the size of each pod (ie: xx oz) & care instructions (ie: freezer safe, dishwasher safe up to xxx degrees, etc) embossed on the bottom so it's easy to remember. Care instructions come as a pamphlet but much easier to review if on the product itself.

I ordered this for a couple reasons, first one was storing my pumped milk and 2nd to use for baby food. The tray itself is pretty great. Its sturdy, easy to hand wash (havent washed in the dishwasher), holds up in the freezer, the tray cover isn't a hard cover BUT stays on perfectly. I used dry erase to write intop of each pod, which washed off with ease. Even with just half the tray filled it still holds up and doesnt fold over - (I only had one hand available to carry it) again another great feature. To release the pods, I just ran the bottom under hot water for less than a minute and they popped out. Works perfectly for our household- mainly for breastmilk. Boobie Pods 😉

I use these to freeze up pre-portioned homemade raw cat food. Each cup holds 2.5 ounces of food. Which is just about what I feed my cat every day. So it's purrfect! The food is easy to pop out. The trays are easy to clean. And I just ordered more because they are great for my purposes!

I purchased this for my 8 month old twin daughters as we wanted to store a few pureed solids. It is convenient as you can fill it up easily and store in one go in the freezer. You can also pop one serving out when needed. The only issue I had was that the top of the lid did not latch easily and kept coming off.

I used these trays to freeze homemade tomato-free shrimp cocktail sauce and filled each cup not quite to the top, making sure the edges of the lid were fully flat against the tray with their tabs out and that the tray was level in the freezer. After the sauce was fully frozen I was able to remove the lid easily and, given that the base of my sauce was beets & carrots, I did not simply turn it upside down to empty its contents. Once I got the hang of it, removing each cup's frozen contents individually was fairly easy since the silicone is soft and very pliable. Because of this IMO the contents would crack before the tray would as some have complained of extremely cold plastic's tendency when dropped. So far I've noticed no staining of any part of the tray unlike with the white rubber spatula I was using while puréeing the beets & carrots into a sauce. Since the sauce isn't something that will be consumed within a week or two I individually wrapped each one to go back into the freezer in a freezer-weight plastic bag until needed. Otherwise the air that could not be squeezed out of a larger bag would degrade them over a period of weeks. So this strategy should work and I'll update this review should I encounter any problem. But at this time I'm very happy with this tray and can easily recommend it. Update_2019-07-07: there was very moderate staining where the lid made contact with the contents of just two of the sections—filling them less full would have completely avoided that. I still recommend them.

This is just perfect. I make my own food for my baby and this helps me a lot. Good size portion, easy to remove the food, and easy to clean. I freeze baby's homemade food for 24 hrs using this storage then transfer them to ziplock (freezer). Then reuse this storage when needed.

The portion size for each section is just what I was looking for. I actually don’t use this for baby food. My kids are older now. But I do freeze puréed veggies or fruits for making sauces, pastries, pancakes, ice cream etc. I keep the frozen cubes in ziploc bags so it’s available to freeze more stuff. I might buy another one just to make freezing process faster. The quality is great. The lid is soft and very flexible. It might have been better to handle if it was hard plastic but this still works so no complaints.

I bought this to freeze homemade baby food, but I suspect it will continue to get tons of use even after my little one is done eating purees. I froze a bunch of single servings of spaghetti sauce in it the other day & I imagine it will be amazing for freezing broth, fresh herbs in a bit of oil, etc. Of course, it is also amazing for baby food. It freezes into the perfect size for a feeding and the frozen food pops out easily after about 15 hours in the freezer.

Very difficult to get food out once frozen. Lid doesnt close properly either.
