Inexpensive compared to other options
There were a few similar products listed that were selling this stuff for almost double or triple the price for far less footage. This insulation is thick, workable, affordable, and got here pretty fast. It held up to propane torch heat with flame concentration without so much as a dark spot. So it passed my test. I used this to line my DIY stove pipe thimble in my shop, and boy was this overkill for that, considering I had also layered the inside with refractory cement under the insulation. Great stuff.

Worked perfectly in my DIY furnace
Did a trashcan furnace to melt soda cans and this stuff worked perfectly - was easy to cut, stayed in place, didn't easily rip, held up to being bolted down (with a washer to keep the bolt from going straight through) and has handled in excess of 2100 F temperatures was I've melted copper in there. So if you want to keep heat in or protect something from heat, this stuff works great and is easy to work with.

Amazing for a copper melting foundry
I purchased this product to insulate a foundry I was building designed to melt copper. The ceramic blanket has stood up to the stress impressively well. I would recommend coating it in something just to increase the lifespan and also keep ceramic fibers from getting into your lungs. Would absolutely buy again very much worth the money.

Dimensions are inaccurate
The product is fine however it’s not 25’ long as described. When I received it it would be lucky to be 9’. Luckily I made it work but inaccurate dimensions in my opinion are not acceptable.
