This is the cleanest easiest way to repot Phal orchids. I have used it for years with great success. The addition of perlite and charcoal do their job. This medium will last 2 years or more if handled and used correctly. This bag is HUGE! You can't beat Amazon's price. at 6.87. A tiny half of a half bag at Lowes was 5.98 last week. Glad I passed it up and bought this one from Amazon. Great clean product.

My orchid very much prefers this mix. Not the dirt mix so many brands have in them.

My orchid seems to love it. I repotted one in this when I needed to move it to a bigger pot and its doing well. It pushed out a new leaf over summer and now that winter is coming has started sending out new stalks.

The chunks in this mix are surprisingly large. When re- potting a couple of orchids, I actually used a hammer to break up some of the large chunks and supplemented with a bit of sphagnum moss and the leftovers of a well known name brand rough mix with smaller chunks of bark. Peat is included, but this bag seemed short on that ingredient. This is a good product, just be prepared to tweak it a bit.

This orchid potting mix is just what I wanted to repot all my orchids. It is a good sized bag of bark, that looks good, is easy to use and has no unpleasant smell. The bag is not too heavy to manage and it works well for my needs

My orchids, Hoyas and ferns love this mix. I mix it into almost all of my other plant soils to add aeration. It’s chunkier than any other brand so you’re not paying $$$ for wood dust. I’ve purchased this over and over and over again.
