This stuff is the real deal. I use this as part of a three pronged approach to firearms maintenance. I use Slip 2000 EWL as a heavy duty lube on any heavy wear areas. I commonly apply it to the metal rails on semiautomatic handguns, AR-15 bolt carrier wear surfaces, and both semi automatic and pump shotgun bolts. It's an excellent lube that resists heat and slippage better than any other I've tried. I then use Clenzoil CLP for almost everything else. This is my "Go To" product. I use it to clean barrels, bolts, exterior surfaces, etc and often use it as my primary protectant on my frequently used firearms. The smell is tolerable, the performance is excellent and it protects against rust and varnish really well. This can be used to break down heavy carbon buildup as well but some time to soak will be needed. As previously stated this is my "Go To". It stays in my range bag and has a dedicated spot on my hand loading bench. Finally I use good ole Balistol for the occasional heavy lifting. Anything that uses black powder/black powder substitute, or corrosive ammo gets a liberal dose of Balistol as soon after shooting as possible. I also use Balistol as my long term storage solution. Over time (when left alone and not handled) the liquid Balistol slowly turns into a very thin waxy layer that is hard to beat for storage periods measured in years instead of months. This waxy layer is exceptionally effective at protecting older guns with thin blueing or pitted surfaces due to black powder/corrosive ammo exposure. Give Clenzoil (or any of the other products I mentioned) a try. You won't be disappointed.

This is probably the best CPL on the market. I use it for my handguns, shotguns, AR platform rifles, and bolt action rifles. This product performs flawlessly, even under the most intense applications. Whether shooting rapid fire/full-auto, or suppressed, it holds up very well without needing to be constantly reapplied. It does a great job protecting against rust and carbon buildup, and makes cleaning much easier. Clenzoil F&R has been tested and reviewed in several YouTube videos, and always comes out ahead of the competition. Plus, unlike most CLPs, this product actually smells good too. Even the sprayer on this bottle works better than most other brands, and will actually spray a mist or stream without leaking all over your hand… You absolutely cannot go wrong with this product!

Great product, clean the firearm, lubricant literally with no effort involved, just sprayed and didn’t even have to wipe or scrub and carbon was just falling. Also dose great job lubricant the firearm. Definitely buying again

In 45 plus years of shooting, cleaning and maintaining firearms with 35 of those 45 years as a Leo, Clenzoil is the best I've found. I never believed in a clp until I found Clenzoil. It literally does it all and does it really well. I don't use the spray nozzle as I prefer the control you have with the small port on the bottle. Great stuff, try it, it will not disappoint.

This stuff is great! Cleaning is a breeze. Goodbye hopps, goodbye ballistol. I pair this with oil/grease mix. Guns are running butter smooth.

It works wonderfully lightly coats all moving parts and stays there. Wipes off nicely but will leave a light coat on parts without overloading surface.
