You've Reached Sam: A Novel

I want to start my review with this line - " I have never read something like this & this book has that place in my heart which no one can replace". I have been reading lot of books, I have seen a lot stories but the level of pain & love this book gave me no one ever did. It's so beautiful, painful, sad love story about our main lead Juile & her boyfriend Sam. It's a story about first love, innocent & pure romance but the twist is that Sam left Juile in the middle of their journey.🥺 You know we all say that when people die sometimes they can't leave until & unless their wishes are not fullfilled. I can't believe how @thedustinthao has put these emotions in words, how he can write something so painful which will directly pin your heart. This book is about one last chance that we all ask for. It shows how Sam was not able to leave, how they were connected through phone, how desperate they were for this chance, how adorable were these moments to feel which they ever shared & how finally they got their closure till the end of the book.🤗✨ I cried so so much throughout my entire reading especially last few pages made me sob. I read this book loud for my sister's & all of us were not able to control our tears 😭 Still I would like to read this book thousand times more because that's how love is right "PAINFULL YET BEAUTIFUL" ❣️🧿

Always wanted to read this book. I love the way Dustin Thao writes, portrays the characters and touches our core emotion.... Starting my 2026 read with this book. Can't wait.:')

It's a interesting story

Don’t judge book by covers this book deserves one chance for your read . You invest lots of money on unneeded things while this requires small amount of money and heart to understand. Books quality was excellent and the story and pacing was amazing. Book explores the story of girl name juile around her life study graduation and her dead boyfriend how will she deal with it society people studies carry and you can connect with it and book beautiful described it . Trust me your opinion on gen - z love will change in reality book trying to tell you there is no move on you could move and focus in your career and life that love it happens only one time and if you have second chance to goodbye what would you say

It's the best book you can read and it's like the best you have all the emotions in it and it's in simple english the story line in omg 😳 and i had to blush for a few things and it's totally worth every penny so don't forget to read it

Product was damaged but im thinking to have it and i'll try to restore it and I got it for rs 320 which is quite good deal 😊 but im not satisfied with this quality 😬

You should read it at least once in your lifetime.

For some reason, I love sad and tragic books, and this book definitely was tragic. I was really connected to the two main characters and I really felt like I was Julie at some points, and feeling the emotions with her. I loved the character of Sam and reading them talking on the phone together was heartbreaking. I loved the flashback scenes of their relationship, and the way that each scene tranforms into another scene. I thought it was quite unique and conveys the sense that it's a flashback, with different images constantly flashing through her mind. The ending is great but so so sad. You kind of know the ending from the beginning, it's set up so you know what will happen, and the more you read the book, and the ckoser it comes to the ending, the harder it was to read. I was definitely crying during the last few chapters of the book. There are some great messages and inspiring quotes in this book too so it's not completely depressing. Spoilers below: If I was to change anything in the book, I have two little issues: I liked the build up of Julie listening and then working on Sam's music and how she met the ex producer of Sam's favourite band. I kind of get why it ended with the email that he had forwarded the music on to the band members, but I wish there was a better outcome, like they worked on a song and released it, so Sam would have something to hold onto, and it would be good for those who lived him too, to feel close to him. Another thing, during their phone calls, Julie always asks Sam questions about where he is, why this is happening, etc, and Sam always replies with the sams vague answers and says he can't tell her that yet. The way I interpreted that was by the end of it, we'd learn more about what's going on. Where is he? Where is he going next? But we never really find out. Why does their connection fizzle out? But I'm not too bothered about it because I guess in a way, it's realistic. Nobody knows where you go or what happens to you. But it would have been nice to use the opportunity to create something there. Anyway, great read, highly recommend!!

Book came in good condition.

At first i had mixed feelings. We jumped from memory to memory. It was not easy to follow for me. But then the story Fame and i’ve loved every person in this book and i wish there was more of Mika, Oliver and Tristen!!! Ouch and the little brother.. MY HEART <\3 I just had a feeling that the ending was very fast and like the begin/middle was more slow. But this did not bother me.
