Thank you Liquid IV! - This product has changed my life I suffer from extreme dehydration and a need for increased salt due to POTS Syndrome. I have had to be hospitalized just to receive IV fluids due to the extreme dehydration that POTS can cause. I always carry a bottle of artisan water and have ever stocked up on Pedialyte and Gatorade yet nothing seemed to make a huge difference until this product. I went to a local health and fitness store and purchased some electrolyte powder to add to my water and that’s when I first saw these tiny packets. I purchased a few with my other electrolyte powder and left. After a few more hospital visits and stays I was quite unhappy about my lack of ability to keep my sodium intake up to stave off the low blood pressure and near fainting and dehydration. I didn’t want to get an IV port surgically implanted if I could keep from it as it had almost come to that due to finding my veins when dehydrated is so difficult for the hospital. I prayed, researched and prayed some more and that’s when I noticed I still had the packets of this product I had picked up to try at the local nutrition and fitness center I had visited months before. **Q: Is this good for hangovers?**
A: 20’s: it will cure your hangover 
30’s: it will help your hangover 
40’s: nothing helps, time to put the bottle down

Alcohol is a diuretic and a toxin. This product helps with the former but does nothing for the latter. Your hangovers are primarily dehydration in your younger years because your healthy liver can process the toxin pretty effectively. However, decades of abuse to the liver reduces its ability to process the toxin, resulting in more severe and longer lasting hangovers. You can try milk thistle to help restore your liver, but this takes many years and milk thistle alone won’t cut it. This product will at least hydrate you, which minimizes that aspect. There’s also the elements of sleeping and dieting to consider, both of which are almost completely disrupted when drinking. 

Consider day drinking instead, so your body has time to recover a little before sleep. Also hydrate while drinking can help, and definitely after. Type of alcohol matters too. Don’t drink cheap stuff because the toxins are way worse. There are even people that swear by filtering alcohol in a britta filter (although I’ve never tried that) to remove the excess toxins. Don’t eat like crap, and don’t not eat at all. Then just do your best to sleep it off. Good luck and let me know where the party is!!

**Q: Is liqued iv gluten free ??**
A: Yes, it is gluten-free.

Sorry for the horrible answers above. They obviously don't "even understand what gluten is." It's not just bread - it is used as a filler in many products including lipstick, chicken broth, toothpaste, etc. Also, just because there are no ingredients listed that contain gluten the product itself could gluten in it due to cross-contamination at the manufacturer.

I have Celiac Disease and am very familiar with what gluten is and the effects it can have (including cancer in people with Celiac Disease - it's not just a recent diet fad). I don't believe it is certified as gluten-free, however I have used two of the flavors (not the Acei) and have had no effects from it. As of now you should feel safe using it. But, if you're asking about gluten I am sure you're aware that the ingredients, source of ingredients, or manufacturing process can always change without warning and introduce gluten into the product.

this product taste good and gives lots of energy through electrolytes when you are working out hard and sweating it is one of the best electrolyte drinks I have used, and there are no digestive issues. It’s also reasonably priced.
