This is probably the best air fryer that I have ever owned. It has a large bucket that easily holds enough food for 2-3 people. I have had other air fryers in the past that were smaller or a glass base that just didn't cook enough food at once, or were a nightmare to clean. It has a filter in the lid that needs to be replaced every few months, but it is super easy and the filters are very inexpensive, I use it with a Silicone liner for things like cheese sticks, and the parchment liner for foods that may be a bit more drippy. If I am doing fries or battered foods that need crisping, I put in with out a liner at all. Cleanup is a breeze with the nonstick pan. I probably use a minimum of once a day and it cooks everything needed quickly and without all the extra power of using the oven. I even cooked a large steak in it once, and it turned out absolutely fantastic!

Beware the cooking tray easily falls out when hot, even when inserted properly (arrows matching). Despite that issue, still a 5 star product so long as you are aware of the issue since the answer is simple: don’t tip things out of it. Otherwise, it’s a nice compact size and it’s extremely quiet! We can barely tell when it’s running, especially while other things are cooking on the stove, etc. I love the “light” so you can keep an eye on the food while it’s cooking. It’s also dead simple to use and doesn’t have any presets that I never use anyways. The odor eraser is “okay”. However, I’ve never owned any other air fryer that attempted to make this claim so can’t easily benchmark it against others. Compared to our last air fryer, it makes a noticeable difference, but I wouldn’t buy it expecting to never smell what’s cooking. Preheats quickly and seems to cook efficiently as food is always cooked based on the minimum time on the package so long as you don’t overcrowd it. I seem to get the crispiest results when whatever I’m cooking is fully in contact with the cooking tray. Therefore, I doubt the claim of cooking “2lbs of fries”, at least to a desirable texture. I admit I could be doing it wrong but I tried a bag of fries once and while cooked through, they were really limp and soggy. However, this was all true of my last air fryer as well so didn’t take off any stars. Definitely well worth the money and a great choice so long as you know the cooking tray will fall out if you try and tip it past 90° (especially while it’s hot) and that the odor eraser makes a noticeable difference, but it’s not magic, the smells will still linger but with less intensity.

I am in love with this Air Fryer. Last night I seasoned raw chicken wings and they came out so crispy, tender and super delicious. The controls are intuitive and easy to adjust. I love the light so I can watch what is cooking. The simple nod system replaced the usual presets that are confusing. Just turn the knob to adjust to your recipe. It is big enough for my family and so easy to clean. It is a healthy alternative to frying, and the results are delicious. I can't say enough about how much I am enjoying this Air Fryer. Plus, the price was very reasonable. It replaced my first air fryer and is such an improvement. And it is so easy to keep clean.

Update; after 6 months of use, I like it even more. I use it as a toaster oven and it works great. It is noisy but I usually have no other people to annoy when I use it so I don’t care. My dog gets pretty excited whenever I start it up because she usually gets a bite of whatever I’m cooking or toasting. I have found that the pet “cheese tax” also must be paid on many other foods. But seriously, this is a great unit. Easy to clean, not ugly, toasts/bakes/air frys very well. Original review: I bought this after first getting a competing mfg’s multi-purpose grill-air fryer-dehydrator-griddle. That unit was too heavy, you could not clean the inner lid area well or easily, and it was not great as an air fryer. As a grill, the food would slide off the angled grill surface. After reading reviews I decided to get single function devices instead of the “jack of all trades, master of none” unit. I returned the other unit, but Amazon will not let me review it now, saying “unusual review activity” means only confirmed purchasers can review it. I think that is cover for a number of bad reviews it may be getting. It was a smart move. This InstantPot Vortex XL 8-quart air fryer has two smaller 4-Qt baskets that let me cook two different foods that finish cooking at the same time. The windows and light in each basket let me see how brown foods are without opening the baskets. Great function. The baskets and bottom grate platform are nonstick coated metal and should hold up well. No missing or broken parts. The unit has a surprisingly small footprint for being a dual basket model. After reading many air fryer reviews I came to the conclusion that I’d either need two machines, or a dual basket model even though both baskets would be smaller. I paid extra for a model with minimal “metal look” external decoration because in my experience, it is just more to keep clean and adds to the busy look of my kitchen. I plan on keeping it out because I’ve used it almost every day since Ive had it. When the unit is unplugged, it is nearly all black and non-distinct and that’s a plus because I replaced the rarely used toaster oven with this machine and am trying to minimize counter clutter. I do recommending using a microfiber cloth for wiping the large expanse of smooth plastic that shows the touch controls when in use, because I used a paper towel and then a cotton dishtowel to wipe it and I can see some light swirly scratches on the surface. The only working surface that is not easy to clean is the part with the heating coil over each basket. They recommend wiping it as needed if food or grease ever stick, so I will. I assume most residue would burn off as the coils heat to high temps while in use. I did follow the instructions to run both sides once before actually cooking anything. There was a slight odor but it went away quickly. I’ve cooked fish sticks and reheated fried fish fillets from restaurant leftovers and there was some “cooking fish” smell for both at the start but 1. I <was> cooking fish! And 2. It went away pretty quickly. I did not want the model that required replacement filters regularly and I’m happy with my choice. I never had an air fryer with pre-set values so I dont miss that feature. Also, having to let the unit cool down before restarting a new program should not be an issue because 1. I already have two baskets to use at once if needed and 2. When a program is done and I remove a basket to get the food out, that cooking “bay” seems to cool quickly and then shut off completely with the basket out. I can recommend this air fryer without hesitation!

I made french fries from scratch. It was so easy. I cut up 1.5 lbs of potatoes, tossed them in 2 tbsp of olive oil, a few shakes of salt... 15ish minutes at 380 with a couple of tosses along the way and... Best fries I've ever made! And no oil to dispose of afterward, no smell of cooking oil throughout the house, and the basket and the insert cleaned up in seconds. Highly recommended!

Optimista el cocinar sin lugar a duda. De freír durante media hora o mas grandes tandas a solo unos 5 minutos es genial. Solo que limpiar se me hace algo engorroso. Y el recibo de la luz incrementó notablemente.

Love the sync end time feature. We separate meats and veggies and both have no crossover in spicing or flavour (one house member vegetarian). The house never smells of the cooking- the charcoal filter is top-notch. There is wear on the pan, even though I hand-wash. If it were a coated frying pan I would be considering disposing of it at this point (don’t want to injest the coating) but that isn’t an option and it may have come off in the sink. Some condensation makes it into the window but it hasn’t produced a problem yet and I try to keep the area from being soaked.
