The circuit board went bad and would only work on speed 1. New circuit board was over $100. Removed circuit board and added this variable switch and 2 way taped it to the shroud. Only directions are on the Amazon add and they are not great. This worked for me. Black wire to negitive/ ground Blue wire to negitive/ ground on motor or whatever device you are hooking up to.
