Great for anyone who paints small figures.
Bought this for my boyfriend. You do have to assemble it but, it was pretty easy. Very good quality and durable. He does it miniature painting of D&D and Battletech characters. This holds alot of the paints and supplies.

Nice and sturdy
I was nervous about finding a paint rack that wouldn't wobble or feel flimsy every time I touched it. The wall-mounting option for this paint rack is fantastic, and it fits all but the largest of my paint jars. The assembly was a snap, merely slotting wood pieces together and affixing them with a wood clip. When sitting on a desk empty, there is a little wobble in the pieces, but when wall-mounted it's as steady as I was hoping. Looking forward to adding more as I get more and more paints. These are absolutely perfect for the Tamiya 40ml mixing jars, but my only complaint is the the ever-so-slightly wider Mr. Hobby 40ml jars don't fit. The difference is a bit less than a millimeter so you could probably sand the holes larger if you really wanted to use this for Mr. Hobby large jars. To their credit they never said the Mr. Hobby jars would fit, so I won't drop a star off for that.

Great once its together
This was a great way to store my on and off-brand warhammer paints. Only issue was assembly. I assume if you were born with 3 or 4 extra hands its pretty easy to assemble, but for those of us with the factory default 2, a bunch of blue tape is needed to keep pieces in the right place until they can be secured. Constantly felt like I was going to snap parts assembling it as well, but once it was together the thing is solid and has even survived a cat related fall off a shelf.

Holds well
I have stained it to be a bit darker and it hasn't made it less durable. It has helped me organize and display all my paints and has been super easy to build, install on my wall using thumbtacks, and use. It looks amazing on my wall and was a great purchase for my miniature painting business.

Finicky to Assemble, But Useful and Great Looking
I purchased the 60 slot Citadel and the 72 Vallejo units. (So far...) They come flat packed, in a cardboard box shrink wrapped in plastic, with instructions and paper between each wood layer. The larger pieces were already cut out and had the extra wood removed. The small connectors were still in/attached to the wood they were cut from. You just need to pop them out and I found the little wood "tool" they provided useful for that process. They were a little finicky to assemble since things are pretty flimsy until you get the second side on. But it wasn't too bad. First one took maybe 20-30 minutes, second one took like 10 minutes since I understood how it went together. The instructions are a little sparse and could use some larger more detailed pictures. But the text helps explains some more of the process. The fit and finish was fine for laser cut parts. Smells really nice at least to me. The price seems a little high to me, but they look and feel like they'll last. The Citadel one makes it a little hard to see the names on the pots since they sit kinda low if you don't hang these up. But I had no issues getting everything I had onto the rack and everything seems stable and looks great. The Vallejo one is easier to read the paint names just because the bottles are taller. Bottles also sit nicely and look impressive when full. My only, soon to be rectified, problem was that I had more paints then I thought lol. Going to order another one soon.

Great for organizing new Army Painter paints. But extremely overpriced
This item is exactly what I wanted but it gets a 3 star because it is definitely overpriced. But this was the only one of its kind with this amount of slots on each row. And as you can see in the picture, it's perfect to keep the new Army Painter Fanatics triad schemes in order (each triad is 6 paints. This is rows of 12). Its easy enough to put together. And seems pretty stable. And it's mounting hole position makes it easier to hang than others of its kind I've gotten. But yeah, it's extremely, extremely overpriced.

Perfect!
Doing a complete overhaul of my airbrush "studio" (aka office desk) and needed a new way to file and store paints. I purchased this item, hoping the paint bottles would fit. When I first opened the box, I was highly impressed with not only the precision of the cuts, but with the overall quality of the wooden material used. A quick fitting test with one of my "CREATEX/WICKED" paint bottles showed that the shelf holes were a perfect fit! Time for assembly ..... It has to be noted here that the printed directions provided, have very VAGUE instructions, and a series of drawings. (No TAB-A into SLOT-B type of thing) Also missing - any markings on the materials themselves to show which part is which. The instructions also indicate that for a stronger construction, to use glue when assembling. Personal Recommendation: If you feel the need to glue, completely assemble the unit first, then go back and apply glue if you determine the need to do so. Other personal observations: As noted, the shelf holes in this unit are perfect for my paint bottles - due to the length/height of the bottles, the holes have a "friction hold" on the bottles, instead Gravity holding the bottles on the shelf. Extra parts are included, so dont freak when you have leftovers. I am so impressed with this product, that I am assembling my 2nd one, this afternoon.
