An excellent resource for beginner adults
This book is most suited to adults. As a teacher, I use it with people who aren't playing in concert or symphonic bands and have no interest in that music. For better or worse, this book doesn't get into any stick control exercises and only presents enough reading to play the beats and fills. This book isn't good for young students playing in their school music programs who need to develop jazz, chart reading, and rudimental skills. This book's strengths are that it cuts right to playing good rock/R&B/pop grooves and fills quickly. This is a great place to start if you're an adult who wants to learn enough drumset to function in a contemporary rock or R&B band.

Es un libro que empieza en un nivel medio, aun asii si el nivel que se tiene es bajo como el mio, se puede seguir a la perfección, esta explicado de manera magistras Jost es una maquina de tocar y de enseñar. 100% recomendable.
