I like that it is flexible and noise less.I have two huge amps ,Vox ac 15 & a line6 240v modeling amp(which has a 1/4 headphone jack) As well as vox mini 15 rythm For busking and playing outside with battery operation.The latter has a 1/8 3.5 mm headphone jack. When I'm in my studio at 2 a.m. and feel like practicing without disturbing the neighbors and getting a visit from the "Po Po, the man, john law",etc.etc.This thing is What I use to connect to addario headphone extension,which I connect to sennhieser 650 hds. Works great on my home stereo as well.It works much better than a solid adapter .I would reccomend this for musicians,as well as well as audiophiles with quality sound systems.

It worked perfectly conning my 1981 pre-amplifier to my boundaries.

I bought this to connect the .25 inch / 6.3mm plug on my headphones to the 3.5mm socket on my laptop for video conferencing and listening to music. The cable looks great, both ends connect firmly without loss of contact, and there's no noticeable loss of audio quality.

I needed an adapter for listening to my Audio-Technica headphones on my bass guitar amplifier, but there was a mismatch in the plugs. The headphones use a 1/4" adapter and my new Fender Rumble 40 bass requires a 1/8" (3.5mm) headphone jack. This adapter turns out to be a perfect solution. The CableCreation adapter is very high quality, and the braided cable looks really sharp with my old headphones.

I have been using GarageBand on my iMac and using some nice earplugs from Apple for recording, but wanted to use the higher quality “over-ear” headphones I prefer to use in my studio, and this adapter works perfectly.

This works great. I notice no difference in sound quality. It holds the input quite tight.
