The large screen makes it easy to see, and the picture and sound quality are good. It’s simple to use, and I like that it’s portable and easy to move from one place to another. Overall, it’s a good DVD player and does what it’s supposed to do.

I wore out my last player of this same brand and I liked it so well when it was time to replace it I bought another DBPower unit. There is a feature on both called Last Memory that I mostly don’t use and turning it off on the old unit wasn’t particularly difficult but I just couldn’t figure out how to turn it off on the new unit. Back and forth with customer service several times and they helped me turn it off. I have to say the customer service staff was extremely prompt, very helpful and concerned, as polite and courteous as anyone could want. Five stars for their customer service! I like this new unit better than the old one. The picture quality is much better even though the old one was just fine. The volume on the new one is much louder. I mention that after reading some reviews saying the volume was not loud enough. I find it to be plenty loud and entirely satisfactory.

It's awesome, picture is great, easy to work with. There are no issues at this time.

The first one I ordered kept freezing or skipping all my DVD'S then began to say no disc, the return policy starts on the date you order it not the day you receive it which only gave me 1 week to use it, so I contacted customer support and had to send video proof of malfunction but they sent a new one out, love the size and style

Great product

The idea of a portable DVD player is to be able to watch DVDs without having to be plugged into an electric power source, hence a charged battery. I do not watch DVDs for an endless 5 hours. Does the battery life last that long? I don't know. I do know that when I charge the player to green light full, after sitting for 8 hours and not used, I have to plug in and charge again since the battery is dead, needless to say, that is quite frustrating to plan on watching something only to find that I can't use the player. It seems as if there is no true 'power off' just a screen off so there is a continuous drain on the battery. The instructions say to charge the battery at least once a month, so far, since I have received this, it has been charged 3 times with a total of 45 min of usage. The little bit of usage I have had for viewing, the picture is fine. I have not put batteries into the remote control because, well, there is no sense in using a remote on a player that is on charge. Well ... If I could give a zero star rate, I would. After charging again, the battery was dead within 4 hours of disconnecting the charger without ever even turning the player on. PURCHASE AT OWN RISK So, for 3 weeks in a row now, I have received offers from DBPowers of a gift card... First offer $40, second offer $50, and now another offer of $60 if I change my star review to 5 stars. Please note, the single star review still stands. Woohoo.... And now an $80 offer! Nope ... I stand by my review.

What a great value for the money. My son still loves his DVDs and the small DVD players make him frustrated. We purchased this to replace one that was broken. We were glad with the result. I hope it lasts longer than the others.

Bought this DVD player last June and it had a great picture and sound quality. Unfortunately it started to freeze up during use. Would put the same disc in another player and it would work fine so knew it was the player and not a defective disc. Sent DBpower a couple of short videos showing the problem occurring and within 10 days a new DVD player was delivered to my house with no need to return the defective one. Dealing with this company was amazingly easy and hassle free. They definitely stand behind their product.

Very bad quality you cant watch videos on it from SD card or usb or hard disk

Great item but point plug was delivered with a UK power plug not an Australian
