The thing that stands out first is how efficiently it heats. It is quick and The WindBurner system really does live up to its name, even in windy conditions this pot heats water and sauces quickly and with minimal fuel use. That’s a big advantage when you’re trying to conserve fuel on longer trips. The non-stick coating is surprisingly durable and makes cleaning it really easy. After cooking pasta, sauces, or soups, a quick wipe with a sponge gets it ready for the next meal. It also means you don’t need to use too much water to clean it, which is great when water is limited. Its capacity is great for small groups of 2 to 3 people, although I have used it on my own. The lid seals well and it is well made and quite rugged.
