Great product buy it, it works.
This is a great product, moisturized my dry flaking skin on my forehead. Use to flake so bad it would build up on my glasses. No more. This truly works as it says it will.

It has been a huge relief!
I developed some kind of skin irritation on my face either there’s some kind of dermatitis or rosacea. I’ve never had issues with my face. I’ve always taken my makeup off and taking very good care of my skin, so I’m not sure if this is a menopause thing. But the doctor had put me on two different creams and doxycycline. And I was getting frustrated because my face at one time felt like it was on fire like it was burning. I started doing research and I decided to give this a try. I have been pleasantly surprised it doesn’t bother my face. It got rid of this dry patchy area that was on my forehead and my face literally feels like a baby‘s Hiney. I am truly hoping that it keeps working for me because this has been very frustrating.

Almost perfect !
This moisturizer has been great for my skin. I have mild rosacea and this tones it down a lot and leaves my skin nice and smooth instead of blotchy and rough, without being greasy or heavy. I tend to have dry skin but get oily in the t-zone and this has helped reduce the oil by quite a bit. The smell is nice too! The only drawbacks are the cost and also that by the end of the day my skin is a bit dry again. (I live in a dry climate (CO) though, so that could be to blame.)

Redness Relief!!
i can’t say enough good things about Hey Honey Relax! it’s honestly a lifesaver for my sensitive skin! I’ve struggled with skin redness and irritation for years, and this product has completely transformed my routine. From the very first use, I noticed how calming it felt on my skin. It’s lightweight, absorbs quickly, and doesn’t leave any greasy residue, which is a huge plus for me since I have combination skin. The ingredients are what really sold me, honey and propolis are like magic for calming inflammation, and the aloe vera adds this refreshing, cooling effect. My skin feels so soft and hydrated after using it, but the best part is how much it’s helped reduce the skin redness on my cheeks. I’ve even used it as a spot treatment on dry patches, and it works wonders. If you have sensitive or redness-prone skin, I can’t recommend this enough.

Actually effective
I've been using this for a year now, I first tried it through ipsy, I liked the pleasant smell, I've tried other creams and they seem to cause a lot of breakouts and burning, I tend to have a very oily complexion, and this seems to help with that, I have to keep getting it even though it can be pricey, I haven't had much acne or redness for a while, it's very soothing, I put this on after having some reaction and the irritation calmed down almost immediately, I really recommend this for sensitive and breakout prone skin.

Just don’t do it. 4/5 previously down to 1/5
I should’ve given this more time before reviewing. Unfortunately this became a severely problematic product fast. As noted in the OG review (below), I have hypersensitive skin + rosacea. This product worked for a few weeks, but then I started getting what looked like a “histamine rash” all over my neck, chest, and creeping up my face. This was the only fragrance’d product I use, so it was the first I cut out when the rash turned into painful contact dermatitis. Within a week, the dermatitis lessened dramatically, but still had some texture and left an added, slight pinkness to the skin. Even though I knew it had the highly irritating Limonene and Linalool in it (breakdown under *Fragrance ingredients), I wanted to make sure before I completely cut this out of my routine. Well, I’m dumb. I lit up even worse than before. My skin fissured and bled from the cracks. This is NOT safe for hypersensitive-skinned folks. Just don’t. On top of that, after doing further research, apparently Propolis can be a huge agitator for rosacea and fragrance-sensitive skinned people. Oy. This was just a sneaky bust. Gentle enough to “trick” me for a few weeks, but quickly became a painful problem. It’s been a while since this happened, but it took well over 6 weeks to repair my skin barrier after that. (For that, I used just Avéne’s Tolerance Balm day and night, and Avéne’s Cicalfate+ zinc cream to help rebuild the barrier at night over all this time. Just last week I reincorporated Adapalene gel for acne prevention and anti-aging support slowly, and I’m happy to announce that the barrier is fully in tact! Meaning no reactions to the retinoid. Phew!) Needless to say, skip this product if you are fragrance-sensitive, or have rosacea. Maybe it’ll help a blush of pink in the skin, but for more than that, just don’t. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Hey Honey Relax! is an exquisite cream unlike anything I’ve tried before. Although it has (to me) a light but potent honeysuckle(?) scent, it’s actually gentle and safe for hyper-sensitive skin (AMENDED: It’s not safe for us after all). I was shocked, to be completely honest. When I first smelled it, I thought, “Crap. I can’t put this on my face…” But I was feeling brave. The scent is divine, and although I’m not a cosmetic chemist, the ingredients listed (outside of *Fragrance) were all on my mental “OK List,” so I just went for it. (AMENDMENT: Then I checked the website and say “fragrance” is composed of Limonene and Linalool—highly irritating.) Here’s my gripe: As someone with Sahara-dry skin, I’m not sure where to “place” this moisturizer. It’s not *moisturizing* enough to be a standalone moisturizer for dry and very dry skin. It’s skin benefits could be good, but, since it’s not the consistency of a serum, it’s essentially just “another layer” for dry skin types. Again, yes, it could have benefits, but it can’t replace a moisturizing step for me, so really all it is is an added lotion-layer that creates a “mask-like” feeling on the skin seeing that I still need more on top of it. Does that make sense? Like all “All skin types” moisturizers I’ve ever used, it’s benefits are outweighed by the fact that it’s just another layer to risk pilling or creating that heavy, overly-layered feeling on the skin. I’ve found myself preferring “essences,” toners and serums as I’m getting “wiser” (Ahem: Older). Geared toward the right skin type, I’ve found more benefits in those lighter formulations, as layering a moisturizer or two on top of them doesn’t leave a feeling over “too much” on the skin. I hope this makes sense. What would make this a 5/5 is if Hey Honey split it into two formulations, and added, say, glycerine and/or urea to its Normal/Dry skin type version. Could I mix them in myself? Sure. But then I’d ruin the formulation, and just make it feel even heavier. That job needs a cosmetic chemist to work out the formulation kinks. All in all, after a month’s use: I recommend this product to people who don’t have dry skin. It’s non-irritating (AMENDED: No, it’s not), noncomedogenic, and a beautiful kiss of a moisturizer. But if you have dry and very dry skin, you might want to consider serums and toners that absorb fully for the benefits this cream offers, because it’s frankly not a standalone moisturizer. With that said, I’m still on the fence about whether to keep this in my routine or ditch it (UPDATE: I ditched it). I have two tubes (purchased for my morning and evening organizing bins that are in a drawer and under my sink), so I have some time to think about it. For now, I’ve relegated it to just the evening time, when I tend to heavily layer skincare anyways. But this is where the price tag kicks in: Is it worth it? Is it actually doing anything in complement to my existing serums and toners? I’m still not sure. I’ll update later if I decide to keep it in the line-up. UPDATE: I didn’t. It burned, stung, split and cracked my skin, and has left me with pink, raised lines where my skin fissured. Skip this. It’s a slippery skin-wrecker of a product. 0/5
