Extra Large Tea Infuser

Now that I've discovered that many tea packagers use plastic coating to hold the paper bag together, I've changed over to bulk tea. These are really great little devices - the holes are tiny, but it is very porous - at full flow the faucet doesn't cause it to hold any water at all. It also doesn't pass debris. They're easy to clean and appear to be good quality stainless steel. Good purchase.

We frequently cook large pots of soups and stews, especially in the cooler months. It is not pleasant to have the ginger, herbs, and whole spices in the soup itself and have to fish them out, and it's a pain to have to tie them in cheesecloth. We had a small tea ball, but couldn't fit all the seasonings we need into the small ball. This large tea ball infuser works great for us. It is easy to open and close, and seals tightly. The perforations are tiny and keep in even the smallest herb leaves, but there is no problem for the liquids to penetrate and allow the spices to infuse into the broth. It is easy to clean, and so far has not shown any signs of discoloration or rust. It is probably rather large for smaller batches, but since we usually make large amounts, for us it works great.

My tea infuser arrived today and I washed it and used it right away. I had some apricot tea that was loose tea and I needed a way to brew it. This infuser sounded like it would work. I only needed one but decided I would share the second one with a friend. I am very pleased with this product. It held more than 3-4 Tabkespoons of loose tea, which I used to brew a pitcher of tea for iced tea. It is well constructed of quality material and the screw on lid works great. The chain and hook to hook it to the lip of my pitcher are a bonus. It brewed my tea in cold water in about 45 minutes, which depends on your loose tea. I’m impressed and give this produce high marks. The seller is very nice and reached out before my item arrived to assure me he would help if there were any problems.

My son and I are big tea drinkers, and lately have been experimenting with loose leaf teas. The tea infuser is good quality, good size for making a large container of iced tea, a good price and works really well. We love the chain and hook feature to keep the infuser from sinking down to the bottom of the pitcher, and the super fine mesh prevents the small particles of tea from ending up in our tea which we really appreciate. It is really easy to use, functional and over all we are really pleased.

I use this for pitchers of ice tea. To avoid micro plastics I empty tea bags into container and let it brew. It works well.

I am new to teas. I have purchased about 20 of these steepers (no kidding). My first purchase was another brand. I like this brand more...seems more sturdy, better made. Now for size - and, yes, size matters. I am trying to heal a few different ailments. Again, new to teas. Two of my blends have about eight different teas/plants. I put in a teaspoon each. The small/regular size is just too small. The large size is better, but I still find that after steeping, and plant leaves have swelled up, the container is way too packed. The other issue I have with the large is that because it is extremely full, and I'm only making one cup of tea, it ends up being a huge cup so that the water covers the steeper. (Don't get me wrong, I still use the large one, but for teas that have fewer ingredients.) The extra large is perfect for my large blends. It is absolutely not full, but since the base is larger, I don't have to put in so much water - it doesn't need to totally immerse the steeper. All in all, I'm glad I have all sizes, but the extra lingredients. works best when I use quite a few ingredients.

I love these things! I needed large ones to steep my ground coffee for cold brew. There is nothing better than cold brew and NOT having to pay through the nose for it! I decided to try making it at home and since I am such a disaster lurking to happen, it seemed every time I went to strain the grounds I managed to make a big mess! (and usually get a mouthful of grounds ACK! Don't ask me how! like I said, I'm a disaster lurking around the corner from myself! My nickname as a kid and still is with the fam, is Gilligan) Anyways, I went searching for something fool(me)proof and found these! Now I just place my freshly ground coffee beans into this and drop it into my vintage 1 gallon pickle jar full of water and it steeps beautifully for 24-48 hours! No more grounds in my iced coffee, and no more paying for the college educations of the starbux owner's kids!. And getting the 2fers deal made my transaction even more sweet because while one is being washed the other is already steeping my cold brew or when my relatives arrive for turkey day this year, I can cold brew 2 gallons at once since my sisters and I are Iced coffeeholics! These little gadgets just saved me a mint! I'm buying another set for myself and sets for my sisters for Christmas, thats how much I love these things!! If you use ANY kind of loose tea, ground coffee etc., then you HAVE to gets these! They are very high quality, so no worries on getting junk, they clean up super easy, and most importantly, NO GROUNDS in my coffee...AT ALL..that's huge considering what a disastrous klutz I am! (my elbows and knees are crime scenes from tripping over air UP the stairs) Stop procrastinating and just GET EM. You will not regret it..and if they do not work for you, then you are quite possibly a bigger disaster than i am, and that just isnt possible.

This large tea ball works great for big batches of tea. I specifically bought it to make kombucha with and it works GREAT! it is easy to clean too! Am very happy with this purchase.

I bought these to use to sieve my herbal oils and they are really good for this as they drain the oil away from the plant materials and leave you with clean oil. But they are also good if you have herbs or spices that you want to add for flavour but don't want the materials left in the food. It would be nice if you could buy a set of the 3 sizes

Muy muy prácticas, por el tamaño no he tenido dingun problema para ocuparlas como especieros para caldos o frijoles ya que todas.las.especias caben perfectamente adentro junto con pedazos enteros de cebolla y ajos, y evita que tenga que estar recogiendo los condimentos exparcidos en el caldos cuando termina de cocinarse, por lo que estoy muy satisfecho
