Once assembled the shelf sticks out over 20 inches from the wall, not 16!I got more satisfaction in smashing the whole damn thing than trying to get my money back. It is recommended to mount to a stud because the dry wall option only allows for a ~10lb weight limit. Cable management doesn't work well with tons of cables or extremely thick cables (i.e. over priced Monster cables). I purchased two shelves and one of those two came in with damaged parts. Cambre's customer service was top notch and replaced my damaged parts within a couple of days. Canadians really know how to treat their customers. Best experience.
