Amazing approach to learning music
--this coming from an adult who hasn't played music since high school. I love that the fingering is written in above the notes so you are reading music in a dual way that feels intuitive--I don't have to stop and think about it, I can just do it.

Good practice book and CD for the Suzuki method!
My teacher recommended this book. She likes teaching this method and I have found it practical to use. I have three books in the series and use the CD to practice with that is provided with the book.

DISSAPOINTED AT FIRST, BUT IMPRESSED LATER
Very disappointed by condition of the book. It has been bended from top left side. Just because we need it now, we will have to keep it. And it came inside a box, so the delivery was not the reason. I have read reviews about similar problems with these books, but I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt. It is a little pricey. For the price, it should be a good quality book. Please, makers or handlers of these books, please, treat these books with professionalism. If the musical content of the book is great, so should the look of the book should be. NOW, WITH THAT SAID, after about four weeks since my first review, I would like to give a new update as I need to be fair. The content is amazing. My son is learning a lot through it. As he progresses in his learning, I will have to buy the other levels, I wish though that the other books look good to match their inside content.

You already know that the Suzuki Method is awesome
You know this is an awesome book, or you wouldn't even be looking, right? :) The cello teacher was pleased it came with a CD.

Love the accompanying CD
We play the CD in the car and I think it helps my daughter with her pitch. The CD has a simple piano accompaniment - doesn't overwhelm the cello part.

Très bien, recommandé par mon professeur de violoncelle. Avec CD, très pratique pour se faire l'oreille et s'entrainer au rythme.

Ottimo metodo per principianti
Ottimo metodo per principianti. Il CD allegato corredo è molto utile: contiene sia la parte piano/violoncello che la sola parte Piano. Meglio sarebbe avere un link per poter scaricare i file musicali. È difficile esportarli dal disco in formato portabile.

O livro chegou todo enrugado, como se tivesse ficado molhado e depois secado, inclusive a capa. Triste, porque é caro e bem fininho.

A great book for children and adults alike
As an adult learner (51) I found this book to be excellent and very easy to understand and use. I only wish I had started learning with this method because I have learned so much in a short space of time and I can definitely see an improvement in my playing already. I would recommend this book for children and adults alike.
