NM-i17xx-MP78

Bought this to fit my old noctua heatsink to a new motherboard. Fits well and seems well built. Was very easy to install with just 4 bolts Saved me loads of money compared to buying a new heatsink

I bought an intel 12400 but found the stock cooler a major pain to fit. The prongs are plastic meaning if you don’t get it right first time you’re stuck. I found the fit I’d gotten meant the cpu was reaching over 100c which according to the specs is pretty bad. On trying to refit the stock cooler the prongs snapped. Now the Alder Lake CPUs are pretty new so getting aftermarket coolers is pretty hard. Enter Noctua, this kit plus a N9-US has meant I’ve now got a CPU that doesn’t go above 80c in OCCT. This mounting kit is all metal, the instructions are clear and you have options in terms of the direction you mount it. It’s great and so sturdy I’m not concerned if I ever have to refit to replace the thermal paste or something. I would highly recommend it.

Fast delivery, which was essential as I didn’t notice I needed it until I was halfway through upgrading my motherboard and cpu xD Noctua offer it for free on their site, but this is cheaper than the express delivery and with prime I had it the next day

前から愛用しているNoctuaのNH-U14SをZ690マザーでも使いたくて購入しましたが、ヒートパイプがマザーボード側のヒートシンクに干渉してしまい無駄な買い物になってしまいました。 箱がしっかりしている為、開ける時に箱が破れてしまったので返品もできないと思い泣き寝入りです。 おそらくほかの空冷でもそうだと思いますが、どのマザーボードにどの製品なら流用可能かをメーカー側がしっかりフォローしていただきたいなと思いました。
