NLT Large Print Premium Value Thinline Bible, Filament Enabled (LeatherLike, Garden Pink)

Wonderful! I got an unexpected bonus when you load the Filament App that is free with the NIV Bible. It has videos and narration that bring the pages to life!!! Exceptional Experience!!

The bible is personal size, so runs bigger than compact. Other than that, Omg. The nlt makes the niv sound like the kjv! But wait, after some research it's meant for a 6th grade reading level, so it's easy to understand, but omg, let that blow your mind! You get so many new revelations on this translation. It will blow your mind.... I'm planning to get through the old testament on it so that I can soak it in better, but thus far in the new testament, my mind is blown! You'll find that you start to double check your niv or other bible translation because you can't believe what it's saying. But sure enough, it IS what God is saying.... For example, romans 3:31 nlt 31 Well then, if we emphasize faith, does this mean that we can forget about the law? Of course not! In fact, only when we have faith do we truly fulfill the law. Romans 3:31niv 31 Do we, then, nullify the law by this faith? Not at all! Rather, we uphold the law. Meaning, Faith fulfills the law. We uphold the law by faith! What I get from this, is- when you have faith in what God has promised you; you fulfill the law because you have no time to covet, to murder, to disobey etc because you're too busy going after your God sized dream... So everyone, keep faith for those promises, bc it is by faith that you are declared righteous. Its by faith, in God's overwhelming good will and love towards us that we fulfill the law! We just have to trust Him and we're declared righteous. We just have to trust that Jesus blood redeemed our entire lives and our mistakes. Anyone else's mind blown? Keep Faith everyone bc He will do what He says, and He so loves us and wants the best for us. It is by our trust and Faith of His love for us, that we are declared righteous. As simple as that! I love this bible....everything is just what I need in a bible-pretty cover, lightweight, nice size font I enjoy the fact that this bible is easy to read and understand, the app is a PLUS. Definitely will be using it while reading the bible. The pages are thin and may bleed through. I'm ok with that, I just won't use a highlighter. I read some said they think pages are to thin for bible tabs. I will say they aren't--I put them in mines and had no problems so far.

I have a big bible that I use for bible study and write in it but I can't carry in my bag its too heavy. I needed a more light weight bible to carry with me everyday in my bag. This one is beautiful, the cover is gorgeous and pink. The font is big and I am loving the Filament App. It doesn't have the steing to use as book marks but that isn't an issue I have my own book mark. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS BIBLE. Did I say it's light weight and gorgeous.

I love my new Bible so much! Great price large print easy to read, the best part this Bible comes with a free app, example if you’re interested in a specific chapter of the Bible, you will open the app and scan the symbol on the page and it will give you additional information that specific verse, it’s very helpful and it gives you additional scriptures related to that verse. This makes reading my Bible so much more better gives me different scriptures and gives insight, the color of my Bible is very beautiful. I love the flowers and the color pink.

Great Bible and easy to understand

Personally, NLT isn't my main translation because I'm not a huge fan of the " genderless" push in this translation. However, it IS a really good translation for back and forth studying, IMO. The Bible itself is beautiful. The cover art is engraved and has the soft leather feel that I love. Here is my opinion of this Bible: Pros: - It is a nice soft cover with beautiful floral engraved. - The translation is great for Bible study, especially if you find certain passages confusing in other translations. - The text IS bigger than normal Bible font. Despite what half the reviews on here claim, this isn't small font. It's not super large, but compared to my other bibles with regular sized font, there is a noticeable difference and this one is a bit easier to read. ( See attached photo which compares this Bible ( left) to My NASB (Right) ) -My copy arrived complete with no errors in printing or missing books ( as described in other reviews I read) Galatians and Ephesians are both in this Bible, and my Revelation book is complete. Please note that this is NOT a Catholic Bible and never claimed to be. You will not find the extra books of Macabees etc in a standard Bible. If you want those books, you need to look for a Catholic specific Bible. Cons: -The pages are massively thin. They are basically tissue paper. I am a huge fan of the thin " bible" paper, but this is next level thin. The pages are constantly sticking together because they are so thin. I haven't tried a highlighter on them yet, because I'm 99% sure they will bleed thru. I'm honestly afraid to put Bible tabs in this Bible as well ,for fear they will be too heavy for the paper and rip it. This feels like a design flaw to me. My NSAB Bible has thin pages that are twice as thick as these and the Bible is pretty much the same thickness as this one, so there really was no reason to make pages this thin other than the company being cheap. -This translation omits verses. ( I knew this beforehand, but it's still a con imo.) I hate that they do this. NSAB, For example, leaves the verses in but marks them so you know they were added after the original text was written. I like that much better than having to search in the tiny writing at the bottom of the page to find what shouldn't have been removed in the first place. If it is important enough to keep its verse number, it's important enough to stay in the main text. But, enough said there. The Bible DOES have those verses in it, they are just down in the tiny writing " Translation notes" * See attached photo Overall, it is a really good bible. It's easy to read and hold, etc. The app that goes with it looks nice, however, it seems to be hit or miss when it comes to scanning pages. I haven't spent a lot of time on it yet, but so far it seems like a nice tool. Thought I'd be returning this Bible after I read thru the reviews, but after receiving it, inspecting it, etc It's a keeper for me.

Beautiful book/cover & the free app that goes along with it is perfect & easy to use. Most definitely recommend, especially with its affordable sales price.

Really beautiful bible. Cover is extremely pretty. Extremely easy to read since it's the NLT version. Great size to cuddle up and read with a cup of coffee. Great size text. This is just the Bible. No book introductions, references, etc. but I was not looking for that. It does have translation notes. Great plus is that it is Filament enabled which i wanted. So no need for more information. I just wanted a bible to read everyday in the evening. I have different bibles to do deep study in. It doesn't have any ribbon markers but I can always add these. I really do love this bible.
