I purchased this to listen to radio. The problem for me even though it stores 30 stations every time you turn off the unit and turn back on it loses the station you left it on and goes back to the lowest number fm station. You have to use the remote to climb back up to the number station you left. I find this very frustrating. Therefore I will send back. Update! I figured out how to keep on the station after turning off. The 30 channels that the unit saves can be located on one of the mini buttons on the mini controller they give with unit. If you fetch a station using this method it will save it and when you turn back on it will be there. Trying to make sense of Chinese translated directions is tough. And, it will scan and automatically set the channels with good reception. **Q: Does the remote provide a mute button?** A: There are so many buttons on this remote. There are 21 to be exact. A lot of them I have no idea what they mean. But there is a forward or pause button. There's also a repeat button which I really like and volume plus and minus, I really like this little stereo set up. I use it a lot and it works just as well now as when I bought it over a year ago. I wanted to include a photograph of the remote control, but it will only take a video. **Q: Why is the white system more than the black system?** A: The black one is being discounted. **Q: Does it have a sleep timer ???** A: I reviewed the operator's manual and don't see any reference for a sleep timer. It is pretty loud, and doesn't distort when you max it out. Looks pretty good, and functions perfectly. The remote is my least favorite part; it is one of those little janky remotes (like the Chinese ones that come with LED lights). For the money though, whatever. It serves its purpose. I would buy this for a small bedroom, maybe a garage or something, or in the kitchen. If this is what you need it for, its a pretty solid choice. This is not something you would put in your living room (unless you are just starting out). I will probably buy another one for my sons room; he seems to like it. When at grandma's house he plays with it all the time.
