Very interesting collection of recipes from food to incense to soap.You can still find the ingredients online or at an international grocery store.

Great book
If you are a fan of food history , this is a must grab. Compiled by scribes from the kitchens of the ayyubid court in 12th century syria. The dishes are numerous, and the European influence from the crusades can be clearly seen in some of the ''Franklin'' Dishes.
