Highly recommended
So I have a pond and we were trying to grow lotus plants and one of the options was to use this type of bag. I was skeptical, but very surprised that these are quality bags never had anything fall out of it spill over the sturdiness of it the easy to move. I love the handles on it and you can put any plant. You really want in there. Drainage is great and it’s obviously black so in my pond it kind of blends in with the other stones that we have there highly recommend us.

Perfect size.
We cleaned our fish pond that has no fish due to raccoons. Had to return water lilies back to pond these worked great. I added gravel to bottom and used floral wire across top to form an X to keep plants from floating out. The wire gives you a kinda handle to place them. But lilies are doing great happy in pots. Some type of handle would be my only suggestion.

Perfect Bag for Aquatic Plants
Perfect bag for aquatic plants. Sturdy and holds planting media well. Plenty of room for the plant root system to grow. Handles allow to efortlessly position and move/remove the plants from the pond.

Good for water plants, not so much for land plants
I used two of these to put my papyrus plants in and then put them in a plastic basket in my pond. The plants are healthy and growing, yet not overtaking the small pond. However, I used more of them this year as containers for veggie plants and they did not hold up. I think a critter got to one of them and tore it apart, but didn't bother the plant. There are no handles, so picking them up is difficult and unless filled with dirt to the top, the sides won't stay up and crushes seedlings. They didn't last one season. I piled them for trash, the bottoms were in one piece but the sides had holes. We were getting a frost the next night so not having anything else, I used these on the tops of a few tall plants that I couldn't cover with anything else. Surprisingly, the plant leaves made it through two nights of frost and are still growing.

Very durable!
These pots are exactly what I expected!! Material and stitching are very durable!! The thickness and size are great! Exactly how it's explained. If taking care of, they are well worth the $$! Two tips for anyone using these... I would only use under shade! Remember to rinse during maintenance so the material doesn't start getting mucky. Great water circulation also helps these pots stay more pond fresh vs pond mucky.

Wouldn't Use In My Pond Flimsy
I'm not one to write bad reviews but I can't even believe I received these. They are thin and very flimsy and not whats shown. Even putting aquatic soil won't keep edges from flopping. I can see it easily washing out. It's not stiff like other similar fabric pots I've purchased for pond. Wanted to transplant my Water Lily's in these larger fabric pots. Even some other reviews look like they are the stiffer material. Did they skimp on them now? These 11.8" X 8", 3.7 Gallons are horrible and going back. Not what I thought. Photo shows smaller different brand better quality fabric pots behind these. They look better in photos then in person.
