Very nice shower items. They work as they should. Happy with them.

This is a great showerhead, but I took a star off because you would be surprised at how much plastic is in this thing. Surprising from a brand like Moen that offers a lifetime warranty. I have other Moen faucets and can attest to the fact that if you call them, they will immediately send out a replacement part. It’s just frustrating that these replacement parts are always the cheap plastic pieces. I guess they still make more money because most people don’t attempt to call or fix it? And as the title states before you screw the showerhead on there is a little O-ring that needs to come out if you like a powerful shower. Otherwise the water flow was just too wimpy for me…

I was really excited to find a shower set with valve for less than $100, and I thought that Moen would be a high quality option. In that respect, I was disappointed. Yes, it was a good price. But after paying the plumber more than $300 to install this shower set, I'm really wishing I had picked out a better quality item. Here's what you need to know: - This shower valve has NO flow control option; the only setting is "full blast" - It does a HORRIBLE job of controlling temperature. In fact, I could not get even a warm shower without shutting off the cold water supply to the shower more than 50%, just to be able to mix in enough hot water. I still can't get the shower very hot with this shower set, except when water is being used elsewhere in the house, the temperature fluctuates wildly. (And no, I did not have any issue with the previous shower valve, nor do I have this issue in any of the other showers in the house). - The shower handle is loose, wobbles, and feels very poorly made. Bottom line, if you're looking for a cheap budget option, this might fit the bill, but if you're planning to actually use the shower set long term, I'd advise looking elsewhere.
