Solidly built, wonderfully designed and very adjustable to accommodate so many projects. Why did I wait so long to get this!?
Wow, why didn't I own this years ago! I do a lot of remodeling here at home and just finished an upstairs bathroom from the ceiling down to a new floor and everywhere in-between. I had some large shelving to handle in my garage storage area and finally decided to get this Rockwell XP. Amazing non-slip grp for even very heavy large sheets of plywood. I put in thin sheets of luan on either side of the jaw to avoid and damage to the new shelving surface. (but, I have found that once you learn how to adjust the tension just right, this unit will grip strong without damaging your work piece. The Rockwell XP is very sturdy and solid and maintains a very stable and secure stance once set up. I used it pn our uneven paved driveway and found the legs will accommodate a little out-of-level footing and you can rotate the unit and typically find a position it will sit flat and not wobble at all. I am kicking myself for not having this when I put in a new kitchen and wall cabinets....It would have made the job so much easier. With its many adjustable positions for height and angle of the top clamp assembly, it is going to be so well suited for future jobs here! I plan to order another one as well. It has the ability to be used for a raised platform and would work well for painting above reachable heights. Given the wide stance of its legs and its rating for weight, there's probably many other uses I will come up with in time as I use ot more. 5 Stars, extremely satisfied with this Rockwell!

A little disappointed - Updated - My bad
I feel like the demonstration pictures are a little misleading. Without mounting this thing to something, it is very wobbly. And clamping is very misrepresented, in my opinion. I mean it struggled holding a little piece of mdf. Maybe mdf is just too slippery. It definitely held a piece of 2x4 better. I guess I just thought this thing would be more flexible and useful. It actually has limited use cases. It's clamping area will definitely hold a door like they show, but it won't hold anything less than 3/4" without improvisation. It was probably mentioned in the description so shame on me if it was. Seems like, to make this thing really useful, you need two of them. I am not thinking it is priced incorrectly, I mean it is sturdy and clearly built with quality, but the clamping mechanism is just limited and only has 3 litlle pads. And the pads are hard plastic and not that grippy nor soft - could definitely see how it might mar your wood. Anyway, this thing has limited uses, but I am still going to keep it as with little tweaks, I can see still finding a way to making it more helpful. I am going to save up for the jawhorse. That looks to be way more useful and folds up to be just about as small as the jaw stand. I will do that instead of getting a second jaw stand. I'm sure others will find a better way to use this, or maybe have something to bolt it to. I just thought it would be more versatile for the tiny projects I'm working on and it just didn't meet muster for me. Update: The problem with my perceived value was my point of view. While I bought this with a pre-conceived notion of how I might use it in woodworking and not thinking of real use cases this was intended for, I now see this little stand has many uses. May require a little creativity, I've already thought of things where this stand will be incredibly useful to me in my small shop!

Best stand out there!
Love these stands. They are extremely easy to use and are very versatile. Great for the money I own 2 of them and they have hel up well the abuse of the jobsite.

A little wobbly, but a strong and unique tool.
The descriptions says that it can clamp material up to 1 3/4" thick. It doesn't say that the material has to be at least 3/4" thick. That's more of a guess, I didn't have any 3/4" material to really test it. It does not clamp between those large things on the top. It clamps between one of those and a 1.3 square inch pad. Any weight should rest on either the top surface or three metal bars (they look like three holes in the front view) and the clamp just keeps things from slipping. I was able to use my jawhorse to hold an angle grinder and turn it into a temporary bench grinder, but the clamp on here is just too limited. The clamp has a quick release lock similar to most bicycle wheels, better than RK9033's thumbscrew. It has the same height and angle adjustment as the RK9033. The hand crank provides an addition 2 inches of precision controlled height. The numbers on the inner column are placed in a way that you can't read them. When you're at 1 inch the 1 inch label is covered. With everything locked down and the hand crank at the bottom it's still wobblier than the RK9033. I had originally planned on putting a small benchtop on here like I did for my jawhorse but this is just too wobbly. That said, it's a wonderful work support tool, better than any sawhorse. The adjustable height is a must for any work support, and the clamp and angle adjustment make this a unique tool that saves requiring a second person holding something up for certain tasks.

Works great, after reading all the stellar reviews about this work horse I decided to make the purchase, already used it to hang a few doors and planning to use it for some cabinet work as a third hand. All metal construction except the locking knobs, very solid legs that can be bolted down, quality top base with built in level.

Edit 1: one thing that i would do it to improve the Product is to use more metal parts instead of hard plastic parts, nothing broke yet but i personally dont like to have plastic adjusters, it feels like it will break if you apply a bit more pressure haha JUST BUY IT At first I thought it was a lot of money (specially bc I bought 2), I wish it was a bit cheaper but oh well, it’s still an awesome product tho If you are a handyman just get it It’s extremely handy I use for painting specially bc you can adjust the height and work EXTREMELY CONFORTABLE, but I already hang doors with it, used for cutting extremely long boards in the end of my mitre saw etc and I also use for hanging stuff so I don’t have tools thrown around my work area and I don’t need to bend down to pick it up as well
