Great pre-emergent for bermuda lawn.
Good value and works perfect for pre-emergent.

Great results with minimal weeds all season
This pre-emergent has made a huge difference in my lawn care routine. I put it down before weeds germinate in spring and fall, and it works exactly as advertised. The granules are uniform in size and spread smoothly without clogging my spreader. My neighbor's yard is full of crabgrass while mine has almost none. The 5 lb bag is enough for my quarter-acre lot with some left over. The main thing to watch is timing, you have to apply when soil temps hit 55 degrees or you'll miss the window. It also needs a good watering or rain within 24 hours to activate. These aren't really negatives, just important details to follow. For the results I get, this is worth every penny.

Professional grade
This Quali-Pro Prodiamine is the real deal. I’ve used it for several seasons now on Bermuda and Zoysia, and it completely stops crabgrass and other annual weeds before they ever show up. The granules dissolve evenly in the sprayer and leave no residue or clogging. I apply it twice a year — early spring and again in the fall — and it keeps my yard clean all season long. Compared to bagged store-brand pre-emergents, this goes a lot further and costs less per 1,000 sq ft. Pro tip: measure your yard and use a fan-tip nozzle for even coverage. Water it in lightly within 24 hours to activate the barrier. It’s the same product the pros use, and it’s saved me countless hours of pulling weeds. Excellent value and performance.

Hard to tell if it is a good pre-emergent.
A bit messy and I have had difficulty finding the right concentration to prevent weeds (a little difficult to calculate from the enclosed instructions). Works so-so.

Highly Recommended Professional Product
I was recommended this as a reliable pre-emergent, and it arrived quickly and well sealed. The instructions are easy to follow, and the product mixes smoothly in my sprayer. I’m applying it this fall and will update after winter, but so far I’m impressed with the quality and packaging. Feels like a professional-grade product.

Easy to use and WORKS!
I bought this to address an outbreak of poa annua (annual bluegrass). It works very well, applied in the fall, the poa is mostly gone (90%)-went from major sections of the yard covered with it, to just a couple tiny patches-likely some that I missed when spraying. Next year I'll hit it in the spring as well to try to control my crabgrass. A minimal amount goes a long way, given how little you use it's very cost effective.

A pre-emergent that actually works!
I've used a number of different granular pre-emergents over the years with varied levels of success in keeping crabgrass from coming back. I've always had to apply additional applications in June and September. I'm talking about the good stuff that you can't buy in Lowe's or Home Depot! I did the research and was looking for this specific herbicide. My yard is just under 12,000 sqft. I use a 4 gallon battery operated backpack sprayer. My rate of spray coverage is 3 gallons for 1,000 sqft. I live in SC and have Bermuda grass with neighbors that are competing to see who can return their yards back to their natural state! In other words their yards are filled with crabgrass so it is a constant battle to keep it out of my yard. The directions state that you can increase your mixture rate to allow the coverage to last for a longer period of time which is what I did. My goal was to get the barrier in place before the germination period. I sprayed in February, right before the ground temp went above 55 degrees. I wanted to see how long I could go with this product before I needed to apply another application. 7 months later and I literally have only found 3 crabgrass plants pop up in my yard the entire time! It has also kept the spurge out of my lawn. To say I'm impressed is an understatement!

This is the Go-To product for weed control
Over 20 years using pre-emergent products and this is the best. Much cheaper than the liquid form and more effective. That's saying a lot ... the liquid form was the best there was. Spray in January or well before ground temp nears 50 degrees and STOP germination before the weeds pop. Works better every year. Do NOT spray this in any area you every want to plant seeds. Its for gravel and areas you never want growth. Works at over 90% - you may see a weed but nothing like you used to see...
