Premium Sound Quality at Premium Price
I enjoy small details composer added to their music. I had been using headphones/earphones with dynamic driver other brands like Apple, Bose, Sony and monitor by Shure. Everything dynamic driver I used so far was good, and delivered very good balanced sound that is pleasing to ears. And then I tried Shure 215 Ionic monitors, and it changed whole game. I started noticing minor details in music that I had never felt before. But one issue with Shure 215 is static noise and it was not that comforting for extended duration. And then I tried this monitors from Westone Audio, which fixed issues I had with Shure 215. And I felt it sounded better as well. Foam tips are great for cutting out external noise. I use it in quiet environment at night anyways. Monitors overall does not deliver sub-bass like dynamic driver so that is one compromise. However this WA monitors delivers decent bass to my satisfaction. If I want more bass I just switch to my stereo system - vintage Bose SE-5 (Made in Japan) - still performing like it’s new. Replacement Cable with T2 BAX connection is expensive. And currently there are no other alternative brand that makes these cable. And it’s looks very fragile, really needs extra care with handling. Overall I feel it’s very good product but is overpriced.

Pro quality
These are great. Nothing bad to say about them. Sound is very balanced. Don't expect big lows or highs. These are definitely meant for live sound applications where you hear everything. If you like louder lows, you can use an EQ on them. But for balanced live sound applications, this is what you want.

Terrible cable
Terrible cable and very dissatisfied with this product. This is the second one I bought only for it to break yet again. Love the sound at first, but it doesn’t last. Look elsewhere

Small Ears!
I have REALLY tiny ears and these are perfect! I use them for every service at church and these are great! They stay firmly placed in your ears and have about a million inserts so no matter if your ear canals are a little bigger these will fit! The sound quality is amazing too. I will say they are a little heavy on the bass side, but I prefer that anyways. So these work perfectly for me!

Great headphones terrible cable
Sound quality is great from these. The cable will tangle on everything and feels like it could break at any moment. Not to mention it has no ear guide to wrap around your ear. Personally I’ll be upgrading that cord asap.

They Actually Work
I’ve tried Apple ear buds ( second generation), and Shure 215’s. The Apple kept falling out of my ears, and the Shure’s were not only near impossible put in, but had no bass that I could detect. Maybe I just have funny ears. I bought the Westone’s with great hope but little expectation. But what a surprise! They actually fit, and the sound was great! They aren’t totally sound cancelling but almost, which is fine with me. A little room awareness is good for my purposes. A small nitpick: I am using the foam covers for the earpieces. The foam separated from the hard plastic sleeve that is attached to the foam. The easy fix was to use a small amount of GOOP adhesive to adhere the foam to the sleeve. Tip: Be careful not get any adhesive inside the “tunnel” through which the sound travels. Best way is to put a small amount of adhesive on the outside of the plastic sleeve only. Let it dry overnight.

Thin - weak sound
Sounds was thin - Mids seemed massively over pronounced. Bass wasn't what i was hoping for - clarity was good but they just sounded cheap compared with other in ears i've used. Sennheiser IE 100 Pro dynamic driver beat these things out by a mile - and at a much more manageable price point than these Westones. Sorry Westone - dual driver or not, wasn't impressed.

Great upgrade
Love my westones. Was on a budget and happy for this price point. Needed to replace my Atros Future Sonic IEMS. The only downfall is the R and L are not clearly marked and if you are challenged for lighting it’s hard to tell at first glance which side is which. Not a huge problem. 50 50 chance right? But if you’re dress and ready for stage, it’s one less thing you want to think about. Simply adding color to one side would solve that.

Coming from ER4SR which i love, i wanted to step up my game especially on soundstage and comfort. I tried a lot of CHi-Fi IEM, Kiwi Ears, Moondrop (variations), DUNU. I tried all of them for 1 week and have been really disappointed with. So i have done my research and i've found Westone Audio which is from the same company than Etymotic. I'm really impressed, they are even clearer, lighter, and ultra comfortables, you can't even feel them in the ear with the right tips. They respond really well to EQ'ing and i'm an EQ nerd. As stock EQ they are meant for stage or live performance, the dip in the mid range is meant to ear what happens around to me, its complementary on with you ear in your IEM and out side (with the right tips again). But stock tuning wont be for everyone and most of people may dislike it, if you aren't an EQ nerd go to the Mach Series which already well tuned. For pleasure listening, just EQ them ! They are so cristaline and precise that sometimes i look behind me if its in or out. I totally recommand. They only thing that misses me from IEM such as Moondrop Variations is the soundstage, it's good enough for mixing mastering with precision but for pleasure its not as large and expanded as you can hear on Variations or Monarch. Stock tips won't fit everyone, the best soundstage will come with red foam. But after many tests their STARS tips aren't for me so i use Spinfit CP 240 which i'm really happy with it get the anaylitic sound i want with the soundstage expanded and with the lightweight of the buds it barely feel them. Anyway very satisfied overall, as they said, for the true listener. And to think that i nearly missed those pearls because of the lack of reviews and Crincable ranking. (Which is non-sense because i used the fixed tuning of this Crinacle for my Pro X50 (after testing many preferencial curves) Note: Used with FiiO KA11 and mostly with my beloved Qudelix 5K on mobile. Producing / Mixing with an RME Fireface UCX II.

These in ear monitors are comfortable, stay in place and offer a number of sizing pieces to ensure they isolate the sound you want from the volume you dont. While performing, these IEMs are clear and produce a realistic bass and when combined with a Shure IEM wireless system you can get so sleep post gig without that thick fuzzy ringing onstage volume creates. I have used them to listen to music on other occasions and they are quality with accurate reproduction as far as i can expect. I replaced Shure 525 se, which were nice as well, but i like the lighter cordage and its easier to conceal. These are very good in all situations.
