So far, this thing is pretty much everything I wanted. I bought it to use with two sets of Sony Wh-CH720N headphones. The process of hooking it up was pretty easy. My TV has an optical output (I suppose pretty much any new TV does) so that's a nice, easy one cable solution. The optical cable that comes with it is a bit short for my liking but I suppose that will be relatively easy to rectify with a longer optical cable (I probably have that somewhere. I just haven't used it for a long time and don't remember where I put it). The power cable is a bit more of an issue, as it's somewhat proprietary and is rather short. I am not sure my headphones are compatible with the "low latency" codec this thing claims it has but I haven't noticed any lag at all so far so whatever. The only slight qualms I have is getting both headsets connected was a bit confusing since there is no display and (as near as I can tell, no indicator for which (1 or 2) one you are attempting to connect. I mean, if your memory is normal I guess that might not be an issue but sometimes I forget stuff I just did so I didn't remember which button I pushed. But, I somehow got both headsets connected in relatively short order and found everything works as it should. I am also pretty impressed with the range, as it covers my entire apartment where the built in bluetooth in my PC starts cutting out about halfway. The complaints others have about the light flashing when not in use aren't really a big deal for me. Firstly because I can sleep with my lamp on most times so light doesn't even bother me. But also because you simply press the power button and hold it down for a couple seconds when you're done using it and it shuts the unit down (including the light). I suppose it would be nice if it had an automatic timeout but hey. I needed to solve the problem for two people to be able to listen wirelessly at the same time and this solves that problem for a reasonable price. A worry that I had before I got it was whether or not I'd be able to control the volume on each headset independently. Happy to report (with my Sony headphones, at least) that works. You just use the volume controls on the headphones. The volume control on the unit itself only raises the volume on both headsets equally so you have to adjust them individually for individual preference. Which is how I wanted it anyway. Overall, pretty decent product that will have you up and doing what you need to do right out of the box as long as your devices are compatible. Not taking any stars off for the lack of display because I knew that before I bought it. This company makes models with a display but they cost significantly more than I wanted to pay.

The seller sent me a big Long email explaining how to make this work. I bought this for my outdoor home theatre. Came with everything I needed. I hooked up the transmitter to the audio output of my LED projector, turned it on, brought the first Bluetooth speaker right next to it, and it connected automatically. I set it next to out 20 foot inflatable screen and brought the 2nd Bluetooth speaker next to it and it paired automatically. I did not have to do anything else. The batteries on my speakers last about 4 hours so we enjoyed a double feature that night with absolutely no issues. I can't say if it was true stereo or not but the sound quality was EXCELLENT. Much better sound than with cords and wires going everywhere. This is a Must Have if you are doing Outdoor Home Cinema. I read reviews where people had all kinds of issues, but I experienced none of those things. It could not have been easier. y speakers are 8 inch JBL clones made by Marathon but I have seen the exact some ones with multiple label brands. Very inexpensive and available here on Amazon. I don't just highly recommend, this device is a necessity and well worth the $40 it cost. Fast shipping, great seller, arrived perfect.

This actually worked fantastic. I wanted to have my RCA output on my TV go through my stereo on the other side of the room. I had a Bluetooth receiver already plugged into RCA connections on my stereo, so I needed this one to plug into an output and transmit to the other receiver. Anyway, I plugged it into the TV, plugged the power brick into the wall, and when it turned on (the receiver was already in pairing mode) it connected by itself. I thought for sure I was going to have to do some settings update or something but it paired perfectly without doing anything. I'm really impressed. To clarify again, this allowed me to plug into the output of my TV using Optical or RCA connections, and then transmit that signal to a bluetooth receiver I had already. It was extremely easy to use. It seems like it's a durable unit, although it's just going to sit on the shelf anyway. I haven't noticed any latency / lag issues with the bluetooth transmission.
