Has stood the test of time. (0-30V 10A Model) I have has this for a while now and works reliably, Its got all of the standard features I need, including constant voltage, constant current and current limit (kills the output when the limit is reached). The encoder style knobs make setting simple and accurate. The voltage measurement is very accurate, but I have found the current reading a bit off, particularly at low values - but its not really an issue as Id always take physical current readings if accuracy was important. I have tested the voltage and current through out the full range, it does get warm when full output, but that's not surprising. Most of the time I use this with less than 1/2 Amp. Seen some comments regarding the mains connector but I have not experienced any issue with this. Mine had a uk fused plug top and the plug amd socket at the rear was very secure.

The fan can kick in at higher loads, but it’s not overly noisy. Supplied Cables are not brilliant. I'll swap them out for multistrand, silicone wires. Conclusion: This DC power supply has been a fantastic purchase. It’s precise, versatile, and packed with features that make it ideal for hobbyists and professionals alike. The compact size and USB charging port are icing on the cake. If you’re looking for a reliable and accurate power supply for your lab bench or electronics projects, I can’t recommend this one highly enough!

I have been meaning to get a PSU for ages and had this one in my wishlist for a while, picked up the 30V / 10A version for £60 on Prime Day excellent. I doubt that I will need 300W of power, but always nice to have under the hood for the same price as the 150W PSU. The unit is surprisingly small but well specified and not short on features. The buttons have a reassuring notched click to them when turned, and they also beep, however I quickly turned off the beeping using the system settings menu. The white LED on black display is large and clear and a definite upgrade to the retro red LED displays. As displayed in the photos the unit is very accurate and should be fine for most applications, bearing in mind that slight inaccuracy may be due to test leads having some resistance, and also test meters may also be slightly out of tolerance, unless you are a lab tech using properly calibrated equipment, this should be a welcome addition to your test bench. Inside the unit is neat and tidy, and uses suitable gauged cable and connectors to handle loads upto 10A, with quality components. The fan does not cut in often, but when it does it is reasonably quiet. The USB quick charge port, fast charges the latest Samsung Galaxy S22 phones with no problem, I do not have an iPhone but I guess it will work equally as well. This leads me to my minor grip with the unit, the binding posts are cheap as chips, they are okay I suppose, but not the type that I have been used to. There are no holes in the posts to thread cables through if you are out of banana plugs, or want to link the terminals together, and the black knobs can actually be unscrewed completely from the posts which could lead to them being lost? As someone also posted that one of their binding post snapped off, I decided to swap them out for some others that I found on Amazon 'CDL Micro Binding Terminal Posts', and they are much better quality. And yes I did intend to swap the position of the -ve and +ve posts, just didn't seem right. Also if you are after a pdf version of the manual head over to wanptek.com where you can download a copy. Overall very pleased with the product, it is solidly built, has great functionality, and I got it at a great price, just go easy on the binding posts.

Excellent adjustable power supply, for supplying a fixed and accurate voltage to 12V electronics. Personally, I have a Sony car radio hooked up to it. It’s so far supplied the full power, and with some detailed statistics, such as whether the load or power is increasing or decreasing.

Small footprint, adjustable voltage and current. I really like that the unit can be on but not producing an outpur until the "Output" button is pressed. I think the over current protection maybe a little sensative but have not proved it yet.

I needed something better than my ancient desktop PSU so thought I'd give this a go. So far so good, checking output against setpoint is less than 20mV difference. It's got a nice way to set the output using a combination of pressing the knob to select the digit and turning it to set the value. As others have said there's a very annoying beep by default every time you touch or turn anything, but instructions in the rear of the manual show how to turn this "feature" off very easily. Fast charging USB port is a nice touch. I checked the current limiting function by stalling a DC motor and it works perfectly. It's a really good looking PSU and very compact, the fan doesn't come on unless drawing lots of power, so most the time it's silent. I love the white display, nice and modern. It's early days, but if it's reliable then a great buy.

Good, clear display, easy to use. Above 5W power draw fan comes on every few mins for a few seconds and it is not a quiet fan... a major annoyance for me. Measured ~80mV pk-pk noise @ 24V 300mA where I'm using it. Beep on button press can be turned off if you read the manual...

Good value PSU which works well. USB charger is a nice feature

The power supply has an excellent adjustability because it has a rotary encoder, combined with choice of setting which decimal you want to change, although i usually leave it at setting on the tenths. It's also very intuitive and looks nice.

La fuente de Alimentación se nos entrega en una. caja muy bien envasada y con cables para poder ser usada.. Tras sacarla vemos que esta está fabricada en metal, y dispone de un venitilador para ayudar a disipar el calor que se pueda producir en el interior. Yo seleccione la de mayor capacidad de amperaje (30v-10Amp), ya que así dispongo de mas potencia en todo el rango de voltaje ya sí te aconsejo que hagas lo mismo, ya que la máxima potencia la entrega con la máxima tensión. Con ella puedes seleccionar el voltaje que deseas y limitar la corriente para evitar daños si no estás muy seguro del consumo del equipo que vas a probar o alimentar. Esta es una de las cosas más importantes de una fuente de alimentación de laboratorio, tanto "Pro" como esta de uso Amateur o de entrada. Otra de las cosas que me gusta es que muestre en el display a parte de la tensión y corriente, la potencia que se está entregando en todo momento, así te evitas el hacer cálculos, aunque eso es algo menos necesario, pero un plu, al menoss para mi. Como no, como buena fuente de alimentación de laboratorio dispone de protección frente a cortocircuitos, y he de decir que actúa inmediatamente, probado juntando positivo y negativo con intención para ver el tiempo de respuesta y es inmediato como he dicho. Amen de las salidas positivo, negativo y tierra para conectar las bananas, dispone de una salida USB-A para poder tomar corriente de ella y alimentar equipos que lo hagan desde este conector y así poder probarlos o si lo prefieres poner tu movil para cargarlo, eso ya es cuestión tuya. Dispone de un ventilador para evácualas el calor, pero en todo el tiempo que la he usado, bastantes horas, este no se me ha encendido en ninguna ocasión. Y si, funciona, porque lo probé usando la fuente a plena carga y tardo unos 5 minutos en saltar por la temperatura, pero con un uso normal, esta fuente con su disipador pasivo va mas que sobrada a la vez de silenciosa, obviamente. Estoy muy contento con ella y por lo tanto no me queda mas remedio que recomendárosla si o si tanto si eres Pro (usarla como secundaria) y principal si eres Amateur, o comienzas en el mundo de la electrónica y sobre todo una buena relación Calidad/Precio. 💯recomendada.
