Review: Strong, stable phone holder for a car - This is the second Vanmass mobile holder I have purchased from desertcart to provide permanent fixtures in two cars. It is the latest 2022 upgraded version, it comes in a well packed box and I paid £22.49. The holder comprises three parts: a suction cap and adjustable arm, an adjustable phone holder and an air vent clip. I found the suction cup to be very effective on a windscreen (after cleaning) but less so on a leather facia. Once attached to a windscreen it is quite difficult (but not impossible) to remove. The telescopic arm extends to about 10 cm allowing flexible, accurate and stable positioning. The mobile holder is attached to the arm via a ball joint allowing wide angle adjustment and has a convenient, easy-to-use mechanism for adjusting width and height. I use a heavy mobile phone with dimensions 170mm x 80mm and the holder carried this very securely. The air vent clip has been redesigned for this model and it attaches securely and quickly to the car’s air vent mechanism. It also attaches to the holder via a ball joint and together they provide a strong and stable platform. However, in my car the plastic air vents are fairly flexible which allowed the clip and holder to move slightly so I preferred to use the windscreen attachment. I have used the holder on a variety of roads and driving conditions and am very pleased with its quality and performance. Very strong grip to to hold the phone holder to the front windscreen. Even in the extreme heat the car holder remained firmly attached to the front screen. Used for iPhone 14 Pro without any issues. Well worth the money compared to the cheaper units that fall of the screen or vibrate whilst driving. Highly recommend. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Strong, stable phone holder for a car *by T***M on 3 November 2021* This is the second Vanmass mobile holder I have purchased from Amazon to provide permanent fixtures in two cars. It is the latest 2022 upgraded version, it comes in a well packed box and I paid £22.49. The holder comprises three parts: a suction cap and adjustable arm, an adjustable phone holder and an air vent clip. I found the suction cup to be very effective on a windscreen (after cleaning) but less so on a leather facia. Once attached to a windscreen it is quite difficult (but not impossible) to remove. The telescopic arm extends to about 10 cm allowing flexible, accurate and stable positioning. The mobile holder is attached to the arm via a ball joint allowing wide angle adjustment and has a convenient, easy-to-use mechanism for adjusting width and height. I use a heavy mobile phone with dimensions 170mm x 80mm and the holder carried this very securely. The air vent clip has been redesigned for this model and it attaches securely and quickly to the car’s air vent mechanism. It also attaches to the holder via a ball joint and together they provide a strong and stable platform. However, in my car the plastic air vents are fairly flexible which allowed the clip and holder to move slightly so I preferred to use the windscreen attachment. I have used the holder on a variety of roads and driving conditions and am very pleased with its quality and performance.
