Le Paludier Guerande Fleur de Sel (8.8 ounce)

I love this salt. We first bought it in Paris. When we ran out, we priced it but it was expensive at stores so we tried others. We have other sea salts for everyday but this is the best. Now, with Amazon, we have the best of both worlds! (If you want superfine or coarse salt, this is in-between without being coarse.) This is especially the salt you want in summer when you cook very simple foods or serve things raw; sprinkle on at the last minute! Also, somehow, sea salt is lower in sodium but packs as much salt-pow which I just don't understand.

This is premium quality salt from evaporated sea water...and it comes at a premium price! If you appreciate the additive-free nature of this product and like a somewhat coarse texture to sprinkle as a finishing salt, this will be an option for your kitchen. Flavor is fine. I will keep searching for similar salt at prices that represent better value.

Best salt in the world

I have used other brands of Fleur de Sel that are much softer in taste - this is very strong and overwhelms the food. Will not purchase again.

I cook all the time and adore the taste of this salt. I can't recommend this salt highly enough.

Just what I wanted. Fleur de Sel from France.

This is very nice salt. It has a fine texture and feels a bit damp. I would like it a more if it was dryer with more of dusty texture, but it’s nice and rich.
