Positive feature is that the machining appears very true, and the face plate is definitely flat and perpendicular to the threaded shank. This is the second one I bought. We live in a Resort which has a very nice woodshop. I like having my own lathe flange, as occasionally I need to bring my work home with more lathe work to do later, and remounting could result in some mis-alignment. The only negative I have is that the steel is not plated. I'm getting some surface rust on my earlier unit. Still fully functional, but not as neat.

The faceplate works well. I struggled to get the correct thread for my aching but found an adapter in the end. Just feel it’s a little pricey for what it is, but there’s limited options out there.

A good quality product, but because it doesn't have a flat survace to accept a wrench, it's very hard to remove from the lathe.
