These little containers are exactly what I was looking for. I like to buy my favorite loose setting powder in a large size to save money, and these compacts are perfect for decanting a smaller amount for my makeup bag. They are well designed and feel quite sturdy. The sifter net fits snugly, which is great because it prevents a huge mess of powder from puffing out every time I open it. The lid also closes securely, so I don't have to worry about it popping open and spilling powder all over my purse. The included mirror is a very convenient touch for on-the-go touch-ups, and the little powder puff that comes with it is soft and works well. Getting two in the pack is a fantastic deal. They are the perfect size for travel or just for keeping in your bag for daily use. I'm very happy with this purchase

I have a round box container of Airspun loose face powder that is wonderful stuff and lasts forever- when you're not spilling it all over the bathroom counter. This was a great solution. No mess, pulls open easily, and nicer than another one I had that had a screw top. The size is perfect, small and fits in my medicine cabinet easily, but big enough that I haven't had to refill it yet. The bonus travel size works well, I'm just not much of a touch up while out person. It's in my bag and has given me no problems. I will be glad to have it when I travel.

Cons The larger of the 2 containers is honestly not significantly smaller than what a retail container of loose powder would look like so that half I consider a fail for my purposes. Pros The smaller container is on point! Seems very sturdy and easy to use So it's not a complete loss but a but of waste in product and money spent. If I could just buy the smaller container I would have been very happy

Needed something to place my loose powder for carrying in my purse. This fits the bill. It is a good design, powder does not fly all over when opened and attractive. The mesh opening is just large enough to allow a small amount of powder for use. Easy to refill and clean.

I depotted two multi-product face palettes after finishing off half the products. I do hate looking at the empty ugly spots of what I’ve used up, but the remaining products are still perfectly great. For these compacts, I had a large disk blush and a disk bronzer that needed new homes. The disks fit these containers and will serve until the products are finished. Project Pan lives!

I bought these specifically for a 2 week trip for anti-chafing powder. The larger container worked very well for my purposes, fitting the TSA specifications and not taking up a ton of room in my bag. The included powder puff was plusher than I initially realized. It was a little difficult to get all the parts taken apart and then reassembled, but I suppose that helps with it not spilling. I didn't have powder on anything in my bag and it stayed closed well. I haven't used the compact yet, but if it performs as well as its bigger friend, I'll be a happy customer!

The size of the silver tone compact is excellent for a small purse. I haven't tested the product wuth loose powder yet but it looks like it will work and there is a way to pretty easily fill/refill the powder and close the mesh screen. It feels substantial in weight; not cheap feeling. I will be taking to work and on trips. The larger container has the same functionality but is very lightweight which may not be a problem if it's just sitting on your makeup counter. I won't be using it since the container that the loose powder comes in is fine as it is. If it would be used for body powder in trips it may work just fine. FYI I haven't investigated how easily the mesh screen is to remove and replace yet.

So far I am only using the thinner one, and it works great! I primarily use mineral powder foundation, and wanted something small enough for a smaller purse, and refillable. This isn’t necessarily smaller than a normal compact, but it is so thin that it doesn’t take up much room. The powder is perfectly contained and does not make a mess which is great. I prefer a brush to the puff, so I use a small retractable brush and can’t speak to how the puff works. The larger one is quite big and would be good for home use.
