I bought this to improve the sound quality of the Avtex TV in our motorhome. Avtex support are really good and posted out the 4 screws I needed free of charge so I could mount the soundbar onto the TV (the kit relies on having screws from the original TV stand which anyone buying the motorhome second hand or pre installed might not have. It comes with the perfect size HDMI lead to connect to an Avtex TV, so really recommend if you have this brand of TV already.

Great. Really makes a difference to the sound quality. The bracket didn’t fit our tv although we did order the correct one. Apparently they are changing the brackets. We emailed the company and they sent the correct bracket next day delivery

So we have the Avtex 24" Pro (the model before the Smart version) and the sound has always been inadequate. Especially in the caravan where it's needed more depth of sound. Originally we bought a BOSE portable soundbar. Great sound but, only connects via Bluetooth and the Firestick, with no universal remote control. So for these various reasons, we invested in the Avtex Soundbar. As the headline says, this represents a huge improvement over the original Avtex TV speakers and being controllable via the TV Avtex controller; superb. However, a few things to be aware of:- The sound bar still needs to be turned on by the Avto Soundbar controller - once on, it's synced fine and is great. Despite there being "allegedly" different sound modes, there is absolutely no difference between Music, News or any of the sound settings. You cannot change the EQ on the TV EQ settings, nor it would appear, can you change the EQ settings on the Soundbar itself. Seems a small issue but, sometimes it is necessary to down the bass, if you've got a voice or transmission that is quite heavy on the lower band EQ (bass) Overall, a great upgrade to the Avtex - it mounts brilliantly and looks the part. If only the EQ settings on the soundbar actually did anything, this would be a 5/5 - however, it's lost a point for that. Oh and another inconvenience - it requires it's own power source. We use ours at home and in the caravan so, I've permanently wired up the transformer, with the TV transformer behind the TV so there's no additional power wire visible. I intend using a 12v extender / splitter, to semi permanently fit in the van, so as to get a neat install.

I should have bought this sooner. Makes a huge difference to the sound in my motorhome. My avtex tv had weak tinny sound from the internal speakers. This connects up in minutes and adds base and clarity. Just transforms the tv. A must buy.
