Is this the acetylated form of glutathione? Thank you.

NAC, as far a I know, along with glycine and glutamic acid are the building blocks of glutathione. Glutathione is not easily absorbed in a supplement, so NAC was recommended to me. Not many foods contain large amounts of cysteine (an amino acid), but many contain the others mentioned above. That's why I take NAC, so that my body can increase its production of glutathione. I am not a nutritionist, though, so you'll have to check elsewhere as well.

Is this plant/food base or a cheap synthetic version???

So long as the bottle has the NAC and not some crap, then you are good. It is GMP quality assured, which is the industry oversight group that supplements wanted to use over the FDA. So it should be NAC, I use it all the time.

Where, what country, are now nac manufactured?

why is jarrow nac better than now nac?

In my opinion neither is a quality product. NAC should have a distinct odor you notice as soon as you open the bottle - a rotten egg smell. Neither of them has this. There is not odor even if you open the capsule, and no rotten egg taste. Try Solgar.
