Great shampoo, and my hair quit falling out
This shampoo does NOT bring hair back, you would need other medicines for that. However, this did seem to stop most of my hair loss that was happening. It also has kept me from getting dry, itchy, dandruff during the fall and winter. This also smells pretty good. Its not some medical smell you would expect from a "medicated" style of shampoo. A little bit goes a long way with this shampoo. One bottle lasts for quite a long time. This 2 pack would last me about 3 months if I used it every single day. If you are a person who only washes your hair every other day like me, this lasts for about 5 to 6 depending on how long I go between hair cuts.

Pleased but a few issues
Seemed to make a slight difference in thickness I think. It lathers nicely and the smell was nice. Only negative was that it seemed a little inconsistent from bottle to bottle. Pretty expensive, too.

Seems to be helping
After almost two bottles, it seems to be working. Hair on top is thicker and feels healthier. Shampoo smells good too. I’ll keep using it.

Mixed Feelings About This - not gonna lie
Totally giving my own personal review here, and not throwing any shade or stones about this product, because I know it could completely be my experience of this product on my personal head of hair; it might work amazingly well for 99 other people and then for me it could just be my hair type, but it could be a total waste of time or money for me ton use this; everyone's hair and body chemistry is different, so just for me to be 100% honest about this shampoo, I don't hate it, but I don't love it. I'm a guy with medium length thinner hair, especially in the front and hairline areas so I'm always out to try anything to help me keep it growing and keep it looking fuller. The shampoo is supposed to contain saw palmetto which is supposed to help slightly with blocking DHT so there's a chance it can help with the struggle to keep hair growing for us guys who are thinning. What initially sold me on giving this a try was that so many users had said you only had to use it two or three times a week, NOT every day, and that only a small amount was needed for each use, so a small bottle would last a long time this way, and so far that's been true of the shampoo, so I won't complain about it. My only gripe is that it does dry out my hair, and I've always had softer, shinier, mostly healthy looking hair that can easily become oily. I normally have to wash my hair at least once a day to keep it feeling clean of any extra oil, but this shampoo leaves my hair feeling like dried out straw, so naturally I'd want to use their conditioner with it... Well this was the only real con I ran into... the Hims conditioner, because you'd naturally be likely to think that if the shampoo helped with hair growth or DHT blocking, the conditioner would also, and actually it does not according to the response I got after finally thinking to "ask Google" after I'd bought and used the conditioner for two months lol - please don't laugh! Google says the conditioner is designed to support healthier, fuller-looking hair with ingredients like niacinamide and panthenol, but it does not contain ingredients that are known to directly block DHT... so that was a disappointment given what a small bottle of this costs. The quality of the conditioner leaves me in the middle as well, because it doesn't do the best job for my hair, and it could totally just be MY HAIR, because of course I know that every person's hair is totally different. But for me, even after leaving it on my hair for 2-3 minutes. it's still leaving my hair feeling somewhat dried out, and still tangled, but I don't leave it on longer than this because too much longer and it will leave my hair feeling oiled down after drying. All in all I've spent about $75 on Hims shampoos and conditioners and when I'm done with them, I'll probably not go back for buying it again. Each bottle has cost about $13 each and for less than that I can get 32 ounce bottles with pumps of my preferred brand biotin based shampoo and conditioner that i've been using for years, and it has worked superbly well for my hair type and style. I'm not sure if I can list the brand name or if it will be taken out, but the brand I prefer is called Renpure, and the biotin shampoo is awesome, truly makes my hair thicker and more alive, and the conditioner is excellent and light weight, and i can rinse after about 60 seconds and actually comb my wet hair tangle free after just that amount of time - so for the hims brand shampoo I'll probably keep using it 2-3 times per week just for any extra perks it can give my hair, and then when its gone, I'll wait and see if my hair has gained any dramatic improvements and maybe if yes, I'll buy some more shampoo, but if not, I'll consider it a loss and keep using what has been faithfully working for me thus far. I'm absolutely not pushing my preferred brand here, but just being totally honest about what has successfully worked for me to get GOOD LOOKING hair. It's never claimed to help regrow any hair, but it does help me minimize breakages and shedding, and it does help me to style my hair very easily, and so I can't help but recommend others to check it out just to see if they have as much luck with it as I have had. Totally personal experiences here, honest review, no paid endorsements or shameful product plugs, just basing the review on what I've seen over the past three months of shampoo use, and two months of use with the conditioner. Thanks for reading and I hope it helps you decide... and I wish you all the best of luck and success if you're struggling with thinning hair as I do, because I do totally get it! If you discover the secret to solving the problem besides telling me to shave my head, be sure to share that secret with me some day lol. Have a good one!

A little goes a long ways
Love the feel of this shampoo when using it. It lathers up nicely and the smell is amazing! I finally started taking medication to stop my hair from falling out and promote hair growth, and am using this as an adjunct to my therapy. So far loving the results.

Using After Hair Transplant & Cheaper than Direct from Hims App
I RECOMMEND IT! I use this shampoo after getting a hair transplant for its DHT blocking ingredients to help with any further hair loss. If you’re wondering, this will not help you somehow grow new hair where you’ve already lost it, but it definitely thickens the hair you already have and it should be used as one of a few things to help prevent further hair loss. I’m kind of frustrated that for the longest time, I bought this shampoo straight from Hims on their app and paid almost double there (plus shipping!). So while I’m frustrated about that, I’m happy to be able to get it here on Amazon for almost half the price for two bottles. Overall, if you’re looking for a good DHT blocking shampoo, I recommend this shampoo. You might also try another DHT-blocking shampoo from DS Laboratories but having nanoxidil in it, it had a tiring side effect for me where I reverted back to this shampoo instead. I never saw the difference in appearance between the two so I chose the one without side effects. In addition to this shampoo, I recommend the conditioner as well. I use it only on weekends and even with just that, my barber says he notices a difference with how soft my hair is!
