An unexpected adventure
Normally, I take forever to get around to reviewing things. I tend to do them in batches every few months, as it gives me time to actually use whatever I've purchased, and judge for myself how it copes with daily use. This is an exception to that policy, not because of the item itself, but because of the seller.I ordered this on January second. Space is at a bit of a premium for me, and I like the idea of being able to hang things, but I don't have a ton of space to do so. Plus, I have a cat who adores destroying things he can reach, so my available space is limited even further. These seemed like a great option given the mounting locations available to me, so I ordered them and waited. And waited. And waited.I got an email from Amazon a week or two after the expected delivery date saying that "something" had gone wrong and they wouldn't be able to make the delivery, and couldn't immediately reship it either. Amazon themselves encouraged me to request a refund, so I did and it was almost immediately approved.Shortly after receiving the refund, the seller reached out to me directly and was extremely apologetic. While I still don't know what happened that caused the issue in the first place, the seller offered to make it right by shipping me the ordered item at no cost. Now, I know this isn't exactly an expensive item in the first place, but that's not the point. Apologies are one thing, going out of your way to make it right is quite another. And that's not even the impressive thing. The email hit my spam box for some reason, and I didn't even catch it until almost a month after the order. Still, I responded to the email saying it would be appreciated (I still hadn't found a great solution elsewhere), and imagine my surprise when it showed up on my doorstep all of two days later!Today, I experimented with them a little bit and found a location and configuration that suits my needs pretty well. It's not perfect, but it's a TON better than the hacks I've been doing thus far. They're well-sized for my needs, easy to use, and reasonably solid construction. My only concern (which isn't even really a concern... just a thought) is that the plastic for the latch, despite feeling fairly solid, is still plastic - if anything is going to break, that's going to be it. But I wouldn't feel bad if I broke even two or three of them in six months. They're cheap, and the seller is amazing.Well worth the price, and an absolute pleasure to work the seller, will almost definitely be buying more eventually - whether because I simply need more, or because they start to break over time.

They work
But not very well for what I bought them for. I thought using them for towels on the oven door handle would be a great idea. Nope. Either towels do not stay on the hook or the towel drags all over the floor when you open the oven. They could work well in the kitchen to hang utensils or in a workshop to hang wrenches. Also as a shower hook. They definitely have uses.

If only I had known soone
Very handy to safely and easily organize mops, brooms etc. the small will fit a bathtub curtain rod, but not a towel bar.

Great Things to Have
Most of the hooks I looked at either had no anti-drop machanism to prevent them from falling or the anti-drop machanism was designed to be pushed in which makes the opening too narrow for the rod that I have to fit into. Then I saw these hooks with the security buckle that can be moved up and down as well as rotate 360 degrees. The rod these hooks are hanging from fit perfectly and the anti-drop clasp is very easy to work with and very secure. I bought them to hang things on a rod in the shower. Now I can see they will be perfect to use in my closets and other places around the house as well.

Great hooks
The closure is great. If the rod fits through the opening of the hook then you can move the closure clip to lock it in. Works on either openings. The closure clip is made of hard plastic. I bought the other type but the closure clip does not close unless its a thin rod even though the opening is large because of how the clip is positioned and it can’t swing back down as the rod is blocking it to close. Buy this clip if you need to close it onto the rod

Very “ok”
The locks don’t hold very secure, and are a bit fragile. Otherwise they seem to be ok.
