Does anyone know what type of wax or other ingredient is used to make a soft candle?

I is amh has bee used In for thousand of years but like the coke beverage no one knows but we know it works.Thanks

How do you use the soft candle ? Collect drips in your hand and apply to area of concern ?

I use soft candle to take out splinters or glass , by applying it to the affected area then placing a small flame close to it untill it's warm. Then leave for several hours depending how big the splinter is and it really works cause it comes out. My mom used it on us kids all the time!

Whats the purpose of using aoft grease ?

Someone told me that soft candle would alleviate pain. It didn't work for me.
