Sturdy and attractive

I noticed & immediately loved my sister's new pole & flag so much, I bought the exact one for our house. We've had it a year, yet my sister & I continue to get compliments and inquiries. The flag is thick, substantial material with bright colors easily seen from the street, night or day (yes, we have a spotlight on it at night). I really like the quality of the flag; the functioning of the pole is as described and so helpful on windy days. It has held up well in the Co weather too. For the money I believe it is one of the best flags & pole set offered! The bracket has 2 different angles to hold the flag so when there is a need to hang it at half-mast there is an easy way to achieve it. The flag is on the larger side for a residential porch flag but not completely out of proportion. We are very happy to have it, our flowers and cushions compliment it on our front porch.

Just picked up and installed my new flag pole. I live on a boat and this pole was much superior to previous one where the construction of the rings that swivel and hold the flag were plastic and eventually broke. In this pole the rings and swivel piece are steel so not likely to break. The stainless-steel construction and finish look terrific. Easy to assemble with all tools, etc. included, although, the print on the little instruction leaflet was so tiny, I had to take a picture and enlarge it to be able to read it!! (and I have 20/20 vision) Also, it comes in 4 extension tubes so the package is small, and you can opt to use the full 5ft length, or in my case with a 2x4ft flag, I used only 3, which will put less strain on the mount in high winds. (I already had a suitable mount from the previous pole so did not use the one included)

These poles have metal fasteners for mounting the flag to. These have proven far more durable than those with plastic rings to connect the flag to. (We were replacing the pothers once a month.) However, the spinning anti-tangle rings don't work, requiring the flag to be unwound from around the pole several times per day, and the sections of the flagpole slowly unscrew as the flag moves in the wind, causing the pole to come apart.

Nicely made, seems to be fairly sturdy. Base seems to be quite heavy.

Beautiful design. The black overall color scheme compliments display of any flag, but especially thoughtful when honoring our officers with the thin blue line flag.
