These fit great. I seen a review that said they were too small but my legs aren't tiny and there's still a ton of room to adjust for a lot bigger legs, so unless your legs are just weigh larger than even some gym goers, these should certainly fit. They feel made very well, and they look like they'd protect good, wouldn't wanna ever find that out against any animal but yeah, they're made good. They're pretty easy to move in, so they function well and they are light, so no issues there. I am almost 5'8 and they do go just below where my knee bends, so if you're shorter than 5'7 they may give you an issue, but I can't say for sure. I bought these because I like to go out in the woods, to the river, creek, etc, when I can and also just for other situations where they can be used, and they feel like a very nice buy to me. I can't see why anyone would have a complaint about the fit of these, if they're of average height and leg size.

We took these on a sheep hunt. Three days of extreme terrain and brutal treatment. The gaiters held well, comfortable and kept my kid safe from snakes (we didn't try that), but a lot of thorns. By the last day the bottom plastic was sticking out. Sooo.. overall good product.. not very long lasting in harsh terrain and long walks.

Good protection against snake bites. It fits just about right and I’m sure it will protect my legs whether I’m herping for snakes in Pennsylvania or rattlesnake hunting in Texas. This is an excellent alternative to the costly snake boots. My only caveat is that one must wear a thick leather boots with it for added protection.

I purchased these snake guards as a replacement for similar ones that I have used for six years. We have copperhead and rattle snakes in our area that I want to avoid while working on our wooded acreage. I wear them over steel toe boots. They work well when using power equipment including chainsaw and line trimmer. I am very pleased with the design of these guards and the ease of putting them on. There are inner velcro straps allowing them to be tightened snug against your lower leg before wrapping the outer layer around and buckling. It was always difficult keeping my previous guards tight around my leg while simultaneously trying to buckle them. At times I had to ask my husband to buckle them while I kept them secure. This design keeps the tension off the buckle and keeps them from coming loose while wearing (which was a continuous problem with my older brand). Another excellent feature is the small velcro band on the straps that keep the ends from hanging from your legs. Wearing a snake guard does add some weight to your legs and may seem cumbersome, but these are light enough that I don't have any problem with my balance or walking with them at 70 years of age. No problems with using insect repellent on them to avoid ticks and chiggers.

Would highly recommend if exploring in areas with poisonous snakes. I live in the Southwest and take these with me fishing, hunting, or hiking anytime I’m in rattlesnake country during the warmer months. My only regret is not wearing them on the days I’ve actually ran into snakes. Design is sturdy, attach well, and have no problem getting wet so you can wear them into water and they will stay firmly on.
