Good stuff for my use
Got this to ebonize some oak and it did a great job, it's true black with no hues, I also used it on a faded baseball cap and it looks brand new again so I tried it on my leather steering wheel in my van and with a leather protection coat on top it look brand new again can not speak on other uses like in pens.

If you need something black, look no further
Used to stain some diy furniture, didn’t want to use paint in case it got scratched or chipped. Applied with mini roller and sponge. My advice is to wear gloves and ideally do it outside, not because there are any fumes, but because whatever it touches is getting permanently stained black. Also dries incredibly quickly too, so you can throw on multiple coats.

Great product
I bought this to ebonise wood as this is what they used. Worked perfectly. It's a good ink

Not good for wood
It’s ok. Not really fit for purpose for what I want. I usually use Jackson’s India Ink which has a nice light sheen on oak. This dries with a very dull matte finish and ends up marking like a chalk board. If that’s what you’re after, this is perfect. To use on wood, it’s not ideal.

Good quality
Black ink what ever you do be really careful not to spill or it will ruin clothes carpets etc. brilliant for art work.
