4 yrs and still same quality as purchased. I put it in the freezer for better cooling effect.
I bought one when my bulldog was almost 1yr old, curious as they are, she chewed the edge and i discarded it. However, she really loves her cooling pad so i bought another one of the exact same product, now the second one is almost 4yrs. I wash it with water as it gets dirty sometimes, then let it dry and place it in the freezer. Remove it when needed. I know there’s no need to place it in the freezer, but it gives her better cooling effect. She gets very exited ones she sees her cooling pad after playing or long walks. So far, no wear and tear and product is still same quality as purchased. Really happy with this pad.

i live in Manitoba Canada - where our winters dip down to -40 c quite often, as a result my dog has a nice winter coat from going in and outside. When she comes in she is cooking hot. This is finally the item i needed something so she bear to be inside for when it was not proper for me to send her outside. This allows her to cool off, recharge and play in the house just like she loves. I also foresee this being a great tool for summer dog trials. My dog is only 80lbs but i purchase this one and it seems to last approx 4.5hrs. I even tried it out and its amazing, not freezing just cools you off. She goes from a heavy pant with her tongue out to a lite pant in about 5 mins. It is taking some getting used to - I dont think she has completely grasped the idea yet. I have been taking her to the mat and commanding her to lay down. But she stays once there for hrs. Just working on her going there herself - I figure this will take a few days.

Mi perrita siempre anda buscando cool spots y se duerme sobre esto. En el auto es maravilloso porque le da soporte y se mantiene fresca. No lo dejen en al Auto porque deja de funcionar. No es helado pero sí fresco y tengan cuidado que sus garras no lo penetren.
