Carhartt Men's Waterproof Insulated Knit Cuff Glove

You just aren't going to find a better glove for this pricepoint. These gloves are incredibly warm and comfortable. They have been used in temperatures as low as -10 and in heavy snow conditions. They kept my hands very warm and very dry!. The elastic cuff helps to seal the glove and keep out the cold air. The gloves are well constructed, thick and tough. These are a great value!! Like any thick glove, it is almost impossible to use touchscreen devices. But keeping a stylus in your solves that problem.

Purchased for my husband as a gift. Measured his hands ahead of time, and they fit well, once on. They are difficult to pull on, but hoping they will stretch or he’ll become more used to them over time. We went to a local store and he tried on a size “large” but it was too large, so this is the right size - it just is snug to get on. Really beautifully made and nice warm gloves, though.

Carhartt is a trusted brand that has been around since 1889! That definitely says something about the quality of their merchandise! As expected when purchasing Carhartt items, these gloves are durable and well made. They can withstand cold temperatures by keeping hands warm and dry. I ordered these for my partner - whose current gloves were not keeping his hands warm in Midwest winter weather. They couldn't even withstand scraping the ice and snow off the car windshield! The first size I ordered had to be returned because they were a little snug. Therefore, if you are debating which size to order, I'd select the larger one. Bottom line, these gloves protect your hands from the elements. Again, because of the brand, I think the price is reasonable.

Pros: These gloves are pretty warm, comfortable and relatively water resistant. Stays dry when clearing a lot of snow off of your car. I live in Chicago and we just recently came off of another few days of -29 wind chill. Eventually your hands get cold even wearing the gloves, but warm enough to prevent frostbite. I use forearm crutches to walk, so I'm unable to put my hands in my pockets while walking, they are constantly exposed to the temperatures. But these gloves hold up as well as my old $70 LLBean winter gloves. Cons: These gloves just feel bulky, which is why they are warm, but, they don't come in women's sizes. The fit is probably why they are a little awkward to wear. I have to take my glove off to do anything such as unlocking and locking my car, using my phone or anything that takes any dexterity. I can't get any touchscreen functionality. It might be because of the fit because I'm a woman wearing men's gloves. But warmth is my biggest need, so I'll just deal with it. I have yet to wear any very warm gloves that works on my phone, only the regular gloves work that way for me. They also have a clip that anchors the gloves to each other which is nice, but it would have been nicer to have the old fashioned string that goes through your sleeves so when you take them off like they ones my mom used to use for us as small children so they didn't get lost. The gloves are too bulky to just shove them in your pocket when you take them off without a strong possibility of losing them. i think I'm going to look for clips and make them myself. So, if you just want gloves to protect your hands in the very cold and don't want to spend $80+, these Carhartt gloves work.

I have searched to replace my winter work gloves from “D” company, since they didn’t make them anymore. I typically use them for snowblowing, shoveling, and roof raking after winter storms. My old gloves were not as insulated but had more dexterity. These step up finger warmth for a little less dexterity. That’s fine. I’m sure these would be great for outdoor activities- maybe not couture for the ski hill. My old gloves were 20 years old. I think these could make it close to that. If your job is full time outdoors, you’ll appreciate these gloves. They are warm even if you’re standing still!

I am so glad I read previous reviews which said these ran a little on the smaller side. I ordered the extra large instead of the large which the measurements would have me order. These fit very well and I think the gloves are great, look good, and the material is very good.

Better than most brands. Nice and warm and room for iron oxide warmers. Best thing is they don't stick to wet fingers or turn inside out. I normally don't like this brand but these gloves are pretty darn good!

Quite possibly the best pair of gloves I have ever owned. My hands are very big and these fit perfectly. They have yet to not keep my hands warm even while shovelling in -25 degrees. Love them
