Really like this light. I have the detection set to 50% and timer to 3 minutes on the adjustable controls and it's been totally reliable. The detection is quite sensitive, but for me it works well as I wanted it to help my kids who didn't want to go into the bathroom without the light on (no external window in the room). Installation was quite easy, I needed to adjust a cutout in the plaster behind the mounted plate to allow it to fit flush, but that's more a symptom of UK lighting often having multiple wires in and out, where this unit expects a single live and neutral.

It is simple to install and its function is same as described. Also, the sensitivity of motion can be adjusted to suit your requirement.

Well made light with excellent sensor, fitted this in front porch, works great when you enter in low light.

Easy to install & set up. I have this inside a cupboard & it works just great. Setting the length of time the light stays on is so easy

I have installed this light in my walk in cupboard with the intention of it turning on when I open the door, but as others have stated rhe sensor is too sensitive. It turns on when I walk past the cupboard(through breezeblock wall and plaster!) It can however be fixed by taping aluminium foil over the sensors until the sensitivity is how you want it. Would have been nice to have a screw to turn to adjust the sensitivity but for the price it's still good value

Put a couple of these up in cupboards and have been perfectly happy with them. The PIR sensitivity is about right. Reliability seems to be a problem with Philips, so we'll see how they last in the long term. OK after a couple of months so far. I'm certainly happier having these permanently connected to the mains than a China special.

Same problem as lots of other reviews. Easy to install, nice warm bright light but the sensor is way too sensitive. Have this installed in a downstairs toilet and even with the door closed, simply walking past sets it off. Therefore not fit for purpose. Will be returning.

Used to help my Gran as she was unable to use light switches anymore due to a disability. This allowed her to navigate her house in the night without worry she was going to fall over. Cheaper & easier to use than turning your home into a "smart home"

It is good only the sensor is weird, because if you turn on the light you need move immediately otherwise the lamp will turn off

The lumnaire is in a corridor. Does its job perfectly - uniform, warm white light and no need to touch the light switch. Each time a door opens the light switches on automatically. Cons: 1. Slight buzzing when the light is on. But it has to be very, very quiet for a person to notice. It took me quite a few days to notice and it doesn't bother me that much. 2. Light intensity could be a bit higher. The 2700 K light is equivalent to 75W incandescent bulb. I would prefer a 1500 lm variant. Pros: Sensor works flawlessly. You are able to choose how long the light stays on after no movement is detected. The manual doesn't list this, but you could also force the luminaire to stay permanently on. You need to quickly switch it on/off 2 or 3 times. The light then stays on until switched off from the switch.
