Updated to include the big one and added a video, so far as I've seen these guys are Rock Solid. Comes with an extra heating element, fuses, and small tools package to work on it. So far using it on the torch down seams, but with the way it's working I know it will work just as good with PVC and TPO. Below review is the old one for the handheld heat guns which by the way I haven't even had to change out a heat element on in the last two months of solid work daily!! Shipped fast and arrived unharmed, well packaged. It is a little work horse, I am going to buy this in the future, works as good as a leister, gets hot fast and stays steady. Been going with it since It arrived and it is a stable little beast. Will be buying a dozen more of these for the crew, at this price they are practically disposable. Far cheaper to buy a replacement then muck about with the leister send and wait repairs.

This hot air gun is almost exactly the same and the industry leader gun that costs 4 times as much. I used it with a friend who is a long time professional roofer and he brought is expense gun and he was surprised with the gun. It really needs a case, one that won't burn, and the heat adjustment could be a but better, this was the only difference in the expensive gun. TIP, let the gun cool down naturally before you unplug it, not doing that often causes the element to go bad.

I use this for asphalt based membrane flat roofing. In the cold weather it's nice to be confident in the seams. Idk about using this with PVC or TPO, but it works great with Self-adhered and Torch down seems. cheers

I use this gun in my apprenticeship class it works fine I would just worry that it wouldn’t last long on the job it’s kind of flimsy in my classroom it works great but it’s not the same as on the roof

Fired it up to do some test welds and noticed that it gets hot . With the leister, I weld tpo on 7, with this welder I'm putting down great welds on 4.. let it cool all the way down before turning off.. damn good welder for the price.

After a few test runs on some scrap. Did a very nice job.

This heat gun is awesome works just as well as a lester heat gun no difference between except the price they look identical and work the same!!! I seam sealed a pvc roof for 3 days straight ran for multiple hours at a time!!(as the test) just remember the cooling sequence before turning them off thats what makes them last...

Tool was what we expected. Honestly it's the delivery that was too notch. The driver was available by phone and text and since I was not in at the moment he was there, he came back, and also took instruction to give the item to someone else.

Heat gun works very well. Great value for the cost. Not manufactured with tight tolerance as the $600.00 ones. But if you are not using it 6 hours a day, it will last a long time.

Heat gun broke after a couple weeks and was promised an exchange that has never showed up.DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS JUNK!!!!
