I thought it was going to be an amazing product that worked well and I was wrong. The adhesion is great and the light is bright. My only issue is the remote doesn’t make the colors change as they should and one of my strips is off. The first 2-3 feet from the box is the same as the other strip and then the rest the color is off. If I set it to blue one strip doesn’t work at all(pictured). If I set it to pink one half is red(pictured) . If I set it to reading color via the app one half is yellow (pictured). I love it just wish it worked better then it does. Other then the color issue, I was able to connect to the app well. Edit to add: I reached out to support via the email in the instruction manual, expressing my issues with the color being defective and was sent out a fully working replacement. I am very happy!

Adhesion was amazing. Simple install. Remote control is less spectacular. It's IR meaning you need line of sight to the box, which I have hidden out of sight so rough to use. Luckily there is an app to control with more options. I do not think the app gives you the strobe and flash options which my child really wants, but it does add music listening so that's nice. Attached are photos from a movie room where they are attached. They are fairly bright in a pitch black room, but I do not see them fairing well in a room with some other source of lighting. Definitely do add a nice accent though. New photos added from another order in purple room. The ceiling took an adapter to connect (easy once understood how to use them) and has consistent light levels on all areas around the ceiling. Headboard on the second port from wall. Works super well. A+

So I'm so disappointed in these. Wish I would have gone with some different ones. These don't work like others. If you press on the modes on the remote the light will only use the red color. It will not cycle through the different colors. So if I want to use flash mode it will only flash red. If I want to use strobe mode it will only strobe in red. The only mode that work are fade and smooth those will cycle through all the colors but you can't adjust the speed like others. So the "wifi" app remote sucks. You can only choose one color at a time. You Can't cycle through colors or control speeds, you can't choose any modes at all. All you can do is pick red, green,blue and supposedly "white witch really is a tint of blue in it and it's not white at all. And you can adjust brightness that is all. Very lame, and boring. I had better L.e.ds before that you can change through cycles of all the colors you can change speed and you can change modes and would work by cycling through all the colors not just red like these lame lights. Also to use the music mode you have to use your own personal phone to record sound.. wtf??? Others have it on the actual ir box and you don't need to use your phone, so that sucks as well. Also they came in a different box not shown on the description and the power cord was also different not like the one shown. So not sure if I got an old model or whats up. Sucks cus now if I have to return these I would have to peel them off my wall and the paint will com off, and they took me 4 hours just to hang them hook them up set up the wifi remote and app just to find out that they don't work as they should and both remotes suck the ir and wifi one smh.. Honestly I wouldn't go for these there's better ones out there. Save your money on these. Hard pass.

I’ve had these for over a year now. They have been great until recently. I originally gave them a solid five star review. They are easy to install and setup with the echo. I still really love them when they work. The lights themselves still work great but the wireless receiver started failing. It will disconnect and flash red and the device will become unavailable. The first time it happened I just reconnected it and it worked for a day or two. Now it disconnects multiple times a day. My next step is to reach out to the seller. I’ll update my review after I hear back. UPDATE: I heard back from the seller. They told me that a year of use is quite a long time and it’s not uncommon for these to have issues with longer use. I bought a new set and replaced the wireless receiver. I set it up as a new device. This process is very simple and only took a couple minutes. I thought I would get at least another year of use before my issues continued. They lasted about a week of using them 2-3 hours daily. Then the same issue. This leads me to believe the strip lights are burning out and causing the issue. I probably won’t buy these again. That being said, I absolutely got my money worth for the first set that I bought.

one of the lights died a few hours after setup, had to order connectors to fix it and it was annoying to do while it was attached to wall
