Can this be used without isolating my heater with my pebble tec pool?

I didn't isolate my heater and have used the product at least 4-5 times. I have a 4 year old hayward heater. I don't know anything about pebble tech. I would contact Jack's and ask.

will this work on black colbalting spot on a fiberglass pool ?

I don't have a fiberglass pool so I don't know. However, I do know that this product did not work on my gunite pool. An acid wash was the solution to the stain problem.

How should apply this product to my pool?

I've tried some many different ones but I think this one you sprinkle around the pool, run the pool for an hour then turn off & let sit overnight then turn pool back on & let run/circulate for the day

what is a sequestrant

Ita a substance that helps reduce or remove hard water hardness from water. If water is too much hard as in texas, it leaves rings especially in salt water pools and sequestering agent helps take it out. In otherwords , sequestering agent forms complexes that helps on removing stains from pool. Jacks magic blue stuff greatly removes the stains from our salt pool. After you balance the pool chemistry, depending upon ur gallons add it to pool not spa, and our white plaster in 48 to 72 hrs becomes whiter by 50- 75% . Make sure you dont backwash for 5-7 days after you add as it will wash the chemical and you will lose money, since these chemicals are not cheap.
