Easy to heat in microwave. Retains heat well, for at least 20 minutes, which is how long I leave it in place. It may seem like it has lost it's heat, but that is because the skin it's on has heated to the same temp as the mask. If the mask is moved to a different part of the body, it is obvious that it is still warm. The filling has enough weight to hold it against the eyelids when lying down and keep it conformed to the eyelids.

I am affected by chronic dry eye disease so I was looking for a product to provide some non-prescription relief. You can use this mask hot (microwave wave for 20-25 seconds) or my preference, cold, (I store it in the freezer in a baggie to keep clean). I have been so happy with this product that I just purchased a second mask. The cold therapy on my dry, tired eyes is so soothing and really helps relieve my chronic dry eye condition. In addition to soothing my eyes I personally find that this mask actually relaxes my mind and body (not a claim made by the seller) and I sometimes fall asleep when using it! I have never been one to be able to nap either. When I am working from home and need a break from my computer monitor I will pull the mask out of the freezer and lay down with it for a few minutes. It provides instant relief. I absolutely love this product and use it religiously. I highly recommend it if you have issues with dry eye disease or if you just have tired eyes. I hope you can obtain the same level of satisfaction I have with this amazing product!

Good replacement for my old pair, no scent, material is easy to clean and great for my dry eyes.

Comfortable and helps prevent eye styes. This is a replacement for one I had for about two years. Haven’t had a stye since using the mask. Wish it had a removable cover so I could clean more easily.

I went down the rabbit hole searching for heated eye masks on Amazon for dry eye symptoms. The first one I ordered was heated in the microwave but I couldn’t find the sweet spot between too hot and too cold. The second one was battery operated (usb plug in) but didn’t seem to give as much relief as the original microwave version. This third mask (which was a brand specifically recommended by my eye doctor) is also heated in the microwave but I find that 21 seconds is perfect for a 5 to 7 minute application. Instructions make it clear to test the mask before applying. The beads tend to cool off fairly quickly after 10 minutes but I don’t plan to use for any longer than that at a time. I’ve only been using it for about a week but my doctor told me that I may not see dry eye relief for months so I plan to use this for the foreseeable future. Also…One other review mentioned this mask comes with a black cover however none of the reviews showed a picture of it and the description doesn’t mention it. I’ve therefore posted a picture of the black (hand washable) cover FYI. Hope this helps!

My optometrist recommended this and it’s great!

Got this for my elderly mom to help with her dry eyes. Provides alot of relief for her and helps reduce tension when she is stressed. On warmer days it helps with cooling and when warmed up it helps her relax.

Was advise by eye specialist to get an eye mask for heat saw this and tried it. Could stay warmer a little longer but I just re-zap it

Really enjoy using this mask after heating in the microwave. Best thing is to follow the instructions so you don't overheat the mask. It usually keeps the heat while wearing it for about 15 min give or take.
