Used material from this book as a supplement to a course in basic pneumatics/hydraulics I taught. Very good material source.

Does what it says on the tin

Quite poorly written and terribly edited. Spelling, grammar, sentence structure mistakes are very common (every paragraph) to the point it is difficult to understand. Figures are incorrectly labelled or don't show what the text suggests they show. All the same problems occurred in Book I. The content is basic and introductory; there are way better texts with the same content but with far more polish and rigor. This book is cheaper than those are, but is still a worse deal overall because of all the issues.

After you learn basics, this is a good book to continue learning about hydraulics.
