It helps in cooking for one person to make multiple dishes at once. The color has changed after steaming for multiple days which can be normal after a prolonged usage but would have preferred if t could be little slow. Didn'texpect to happen in less than 10 uses.

Works exactly as advertised. Very sturdy, easy to clean. I never put them in the dishwasher. I use them exclusively with an instant pot. Traffic for warming up leftovers or making small to medium size meals. I wouldn't try to feed an army with this method, I'd be there a while refilling the inserts. I like that I don't have to Nuke my food. This takes a little longer, but it's worth it to me often not to use the microwave.

I'm sad to give this product one star, it's very well made and I love that it's stainless steel. The packaging that it arrived in was all eco friendly, no plastic in sight, huge plus and if you go to their website that have a lot of great eco friendly things. For me, it's unusable because there are no instructions included on what the settings should be on the instant pot. Since it's marketed at going into the instant pot, I expected instructions on which foods to put in which layers and what the best cooking times/settings are. Before writing this review, I contacted the company directly on their website, asking for guidance on using the product but did not hear back. Hence the 1 star and I'll be returning the pans.

Good product. But after first use one of the three pan bottom got discoloration like brown and stain like rust around the surface the pan. I tried two or more hand wash and also wipe the pan using cloth. No use. Doesn't clean.
